condition. they found a makeshift litter box, with wood shavings being used for litter. a humane society official says the home smelled like amonia and feces, and some of the cats were very sick because the owner neglected them. many of the cats are being treated for infections and parasites. police haven't said what charges the owner will face. a dog is recovering it fell through ice in new hampshire. the rescue was caught on camera. you can see the dog on the left side of your screen. firefighters used a row boat to get out to him. the two got close enough to pull the dog out of the water. once two other firefighters pulled the boat back to land, the dog jumped out. the firefighters dried him off and warmed him up. the dog went to the vet for treatment, and he's doing fine now. a
