Theres a strength in him and determination and what he sees that the country needs is exactly what we need. With the International Trade to build the economy back up. As well as needing that wall. Also, we need to reduce the taxes and all these things hes talking about will make us stronger economically and well be stronger militarily. Then youre safe and the citizens can learn and thrive and grow. As he says, he wants to make America Great again. I believe hes going to do it. Well, if you notice, we have senators and congressmen and the governor and i, we all back different people. He got tearyeyed and some people got tearyeyed inside. Now, the big question is what is going to happen next. Lindsay graham, we spoke with him a couple hours before that, he agreed with that. He said either bush or kasich would be the best option when it comes to this campaign hours before this watch party even started. As you saw earlier, donald trump is the clear winner tonight. Theres a tight race currently 22 of the votes neck and neck between ted cruz and marco rubio. About 200 cruz supporters came out here today to the state fairgrounds to support their candidate, ted cruz. They were on their pins and needles watching this horse race between marco rubio and ted cruz for second place. Now, cruz just spoke to us. His showing here shows that he has the potential to beat donald trump down the line. Now, the current numbers show ted cruz at 22. 3 of the vote. Thats a tenth of a percent of a difference. When ted cruz spoke, he called it a tie. I spoke to leaders who said they pushed hard in the knew this set the stage for super tuesday, march 1st, and that South Carolina historically has predicted the republican nominee nominee. No one has ever won the New Hampshire primary and South Carolina primary and not gotten the nomination. Hes doing very well. Ted cruz had a job to finish second. Rubios job was to come into South Carolina and finish second. He had a lot of big endorsements. Which he kind of did. Its still vague right now. Would you feel comfortable guessing on how thats going to go . It doesnt matter. It really doesnt matter. What matters is jeb bushs goal was to finish third. He failed missable. Hes a great guy, qualified fire. Hes out. His support will be dispersed pretty evenly through the candidates. Kasich had a job to do. To beat bush. He tied bush. And carsons job was to get out of last place. Which he didnt do. Youre confident in how hell do in ohio. Hes a popular governor. Hell win there. Does he have left to do this. Donald trump has selffunded, and he hasnt put a ton of money in. If you look at his money, its very small. So its a huge victory for trump. Were discounting that because he was expected to win big, but he won by a huge margin, and he almost looks unstoppable. Now, you mention the possibility of kasich sliding in as a possible independent candidate. He could. Hes a qualified candidate. Ohio is a stuff state for republican and democrats. It goes both ways. I think maybe hes trying his best to stay and be relevant. Hes a good guy. Hes been a great governor of ohio. So what now . Who knows. Nevada is really up for grabs with the republicans. Weve seen Bernie Sanders and clinton fight it out there. I think the democratic primary next week in South Carolina, clinton is so far ahead right now. Its going to be a huge margin for her.
