A family is demanding answers in the death of a bronze deli worker of a man accused of grabbing a Police Officers gun. A vigil was held outside of the deli and the bedford park section. Camara worked at another store across the street. He followed the suspect Ephraim Guzman to warn them that he was causing trouble in his store. The suspect then grabbed the officers gun and fatally struck him. It is supposed to be secure. Why was this perpetrator not handcuffed before he was dragged out of the deli by the Police Officer whose gun was snatched . Reporter a second officer on the scene shot guzman. He survived and is now facing charges, including murder. The nypd has not taken any disciplinary action against the officer whose gun was taken. An arrest warrant is issued for a suspect. 18yearold Daqwon Jackson allegedly opened fire. Two bystanders young girls were wounded in the incident. Police are asking anyone who knows where jackson is to please call them immediately. Children playing with matches. That is what investigators say homes on staten island. Authorities say the childrens mother was home at the time but not directly soup are sizing the young boys not directly supervising the young boys. The fire damaged seven buildings, two of which ultimately collapsed. More than 40 people were forced out of their homes. Now to ryan lochtes story matt gutman has the story. Now police are asking a lot of questions this morning to one person of interest. Yes, both the childs father and stepmother here at the 102nd precinct. See family members. They have been here throughout the night waiting for information in support of the childs father while Police Question the stepmother as to just what happened yesterday. Well show you some video. This is the girls father collapsing in grief as he learned the news that his daughter was dead. He was at work at the time and returned home. Ashdeep was found in a locked bathroom. She was this a bathtub. There was no water in the tub the bathroom was locked. The neighbor who kicked in the door and made the discovery. Police are labeling this suspicious. Relatives, as we speak, are mourning the loss of this little girl who came from india three months ago to live with her father. Theyve been out here all night to get answers. Officers say on wednesday past a group of people on college avenue. Shots were fired from the car into a crowd of people. 17yearold dante gordon was killed. A 21yearold man, meantime, remains in Critical Condition after he was shot in the stomach. A family in newark is looking for answers as a memorial continues to grow for a 24yearold woman who was hit and killed in a police chase. Spun off the road. The driver jumped the curb killing 24yearold china willis. Witnesses say gunther started to walk away but Police Arrested him. They also found a large amount of drugs in his car. I blame the cops for chasing him because whatever he did, im quite sure it wasnt that serious. Was the drugs worth yall taking her life . We will never get her back. Police havent said why they were chasing gunther or if it drugs that were found, they say in the car. Newark investigators are looking into whether a deadly crash was caused by one of the buses running a red light. One bus tboned another nearly flipping it over. 70yearold joseph who was driving the bus with no passengers on board was killed. A female passenger on the other bus also died. One person is still in the in serious condition. Happening right now, the Port Authority is conducting a fallscale emergency exercise. Ronald bettig was found thursday, a week after he went missing. On friday, George Ishler was charged with first and third degree murder. Ishler had been living with bettig at the time. A Catholic School administrators firing is at the center of a major dispute.
