The latest one happening in the williams bridge section of the bronx on holland avenue. Toni yates is live with the latest in the investigation. Toni . Reporter good morning, ken. Three stabings in one day. All in the same general area of the bronx, one of them captured on video. Four people now recovering from their wounds. Now, were going to begin with the last one. This was at 5 20 in the afternoon in front of 3046 holland avenue. The car, they seem at first to taunt a couple of people walking along the sidewalk, then zoom in on the 26yearold woman. One stabs her in the stomach, the other slash her right here. She told police she doesnt know these culprits and police now say she may have, in fact, not been the intended target. The second stabbing in front of 920 east 73rd street. Someone slashed a 32yearold man in the face and ran off. This was saturday morning, the victim was taken to st. Barnabas hospital. The first stabbing was earlier than that. Two people were leaving a party in the bronx when they were stabbed. There are three suspects involved there and police say the victims and suspects were all at the same party. So far, no one has been arrested. Police are asking if anyone has information about the stabings. If you recognize the people in the surveillance video, please give them a call. Were live in the thank you, toni. Recovery efforts resume at 9 00 this morning as police look for a queens man missing since a small plane went down in long island sound. The single engine aircraft was raised from the inlet yesterday. It went down saturday night with four people on board. The coast guard called off the search of the 23yearold yesterday morning. Suffolk county police vow to do what they can to find him. Obviously the circumstances were facing now, this is a tough situation, but we havent given up trying to locate this person. Rescuers say that the cold water temperatures and pitch black conditions made the situation extremely dangerous for all involved. The men who were rescued have been identified. All three have been treated and released from the hospital. 4 34 now. Shooting of two anticrime officers in brooklyn. Police are trying to figure out if one officer was wounded by friendly fire after a shootout with a the weekend. Dray clark is live with more. Dray . Reporter good morning, ken. Were here at kings county hospital. The recovery is going well and hes looking forward going to be with his family. Meanwhile, the mayor came here to the hospital yesterday, where he had a brief exchange with the officer, but now the investigation is focusing on the alleged shooter. The gunman who turned his gun on the officers shooting to kill. Jamal funez has 15 prior arrests in new york city and another 11 in chicago before coming here. The brooklyn shootout was not his first showdown with politician. Funez was arrested in 2007 for assaulting a Police Officer and trying to take his gun. Sentence. Funez is muslim and has had contact with people, being monitored by the joint Terrorism Task force. Officials dont believe he has a terrorist leading. The mayor spoke about the injured officers during a religious service on sunday. Two of our Police Officers fired at and both came out of their ordeal, one Walking Around the hospital, thank god, the other one will be out soon, fully recovered. Reporter Eyewitness News learned ballistic tests show the shot that hut the officer in his vest was not friendly fire. It came from the gun found next to funez after he was critically wounded. The bullet free fragments are still being analyzed. And at least check, the suspect was still listed in critical hospital, recovering with multiple gunshot wounds. We expect an arraignment this afternoon for the michigan man accused of killing six people and wounding two others in a saturday night rampage. Hundreds of people streamed into a Kalamazoo Church last night for a vigil to honor the dead and also pray for the wounded. A 14yearold girl shot in a restaurant parking lot, still struggling to survive. Uber confirms the suspected killer, jason dalton, is one of the drivers. Passengers are lookingin a report that he even picked up passengers between killings. The rampage spanned more than four hours in three locations, 15 miles apart. One passenger before the shootings was terrified when dalton drove 80 miles an hour, sideswiping parked cars. He starting driving erratically. We were running stop signs and and driving through the lawn, speeding along. Once he came to a stop, i jumped out of the car and ran away. Investigators are trying to pinpoint a motive. Neighbors say dalton appeared paranoid in recent weeks. 4 38. And happening today, family, friends and fans will say a final goodbye to reality tv star angela, big ang, layola. She was the star of mob wives and died thursday after a long battle with cancer. She was 55. Funeral services will be held this morning in diker heights, brooklyn. Starting today, Nassau County has a free pass of sorts for scofflaws. It is an Amnesty Program for traffic and parking tickets written before the start of 2014. A helicopter crew jumped into action after getting a call that two surfers were in a third person who tried to help the surfers got caught in the rough water. The coast guard hoisted the three epeople out of the water and safely flew them to waiting paramedics. Theyre all said to be in good condition. A scary situation when a mega bus caught fire on a highway outside chicago. It happened yesterday near the wisconsin border. The driver and about 40 passengers were on board. They all got off safely before firefighters got there. Most of their luggage, though, total loss. The cause of the fire now under investigation. Webster hall is saying it is investigating a massive brawl that broke out on stage during a hiphop concert over the weekend. A concert gore sent us these videos by a rapper. The taxi jumped the curb yesterday morning and hit a light pole at east 84th street and 5th avenue. The falling utility pole hit a woman who was walking with her the woman in the cab was also hurt. The driver told police he swerved to avoid a collision. The incident is being investigated.
