Its going to effect you if youre on a city bus. Easy detour to get around. You can go to Frederick Douglas boulevard or malcolm x boulevard. Not too bad all things considering. Police are looking for a man who reportedly tried to sell a young a 50yearold man from california told them he ran into the man and the boy near the bow bridge on west 74th street he says the suspect offered to allow him to perform sex acts with the boy for 300. The boy the tourist turned the man down, and then called when officers arrived, the man and the boy were gone. Developing right now, hundreds of protests have gathered outside of a hotel in california where trump is speaking. The demonstrations became violent. You see attacking a man dressed as the front runner. Trump was going to address the Republican Convention. At one point, dozens of protestors blocked the road in front of the hotel. As a result, trump did arrive, but he came to a Side Entrance by secret service. He had to grass a grassy median and service road so he can enter the hotel through the back and avoid the demonstrators. Trump is now inside. As you can see from these live pictures outside, theres still people gathered there. We have no word on arrests at this afternoons rally. Yesterday, 17 people were taken into custody in an antitrump rally in california. Well keep you posted through the evening. Mayor de blasio says today the escalating corruption probe into his administration will not affect his decision to run for reelection. We have to wonder about the motivations behind it especially the fact that documents were leaked at the state miss characterizing the he plans to run next year. A man is dead after a shooting at a subway station in the East New York station near the pennsylvania subway stop. The pennsylvania avenue 3 train station. 23yearold jones was shot in the back of the head. He died at the hospital. No arrests have been made. The subway station is closed for construction. A lock down that kept students inside of their classrooms in new jersey prompted by trespassers. The lock down happened in hillsboro high school. Reporter and david, we have noticed a few cameras outside of the school, and according to students, there are cameras inside of the school, but it pretty much anybody can walk in especially as they start the school day. No one knew the intruders were inside the school. That happened around 7 30 this morning. The students were sent home early as the authorities swept through the high school leading for clues news copter 7 was overhead. They were being led to buses and police dogs were searching the area. Two intruder got into the school by just blending in with the students before the school day began. Once those intruders got into an area of the school known as the commons, they started to act irrational. One student told me he saw the intruders and realized they were acting in a strange manner and playing soccer and harassing some of the were slur. One of them had glasses onto hide his appearance, hats, they both had hats on, i think. And then in the morning before home room, we go into the cafeteria and i hangout with my friends, and me and my friends were sitting around the table and he shows up with hat and glasses on, and he was making weird howling noises at my friend. We also understand that the intruders were sending out obscene gestures inside the school. A couple of people say they believe the intruders may have been on drugs. Once the authorities inside the school realize what was going on, there was a modified lock down inside of the school. Thats when classes were cancelled around noon today. Into the station yesterday wearing a head hodge costume and a surgical mask and a fake bomb. The photo was released snipers shot him when he refused to cooperate. A 2yearold boy and 3yearold girl were tied up in the backyard if they were dogged. Deputies responded overnight to a child crying for a long time. Unbelievable. The parents of the six children inside were arrested when they came home. Investigators are looking for the parent of the other two children. The pentagon announced 16 personnel under review will not face charges in the deadly u. S. Air strike in a civilian hospital in afghanistan. Two nypd officers are recovering from their injuries after crashing into another car in harlem. This began with a robbery. Two suspects have been taken into custody. The two officers are treated for neck and back injuries. Protestors continue to gather outside a hotel in california where trump has been speaking. It was misdemeanor assault, but a conviction never seemed in doubt given the graphic nature of that video. The defendant is guilty of assault in the third degree. Former new york Police Officer joel edward was convicted of assault today for many thought was a brutal and gra tut shalls kick to the head of a man on the ground and in handcuffs. The judge sure thought so. He let down his fellow officers and the new York City Police department by losing his composure and admittedly it was a difficult situation, but he stomped on the head of a man being restrained by other police. Cuffy was left bloody and light headed after the attack, but he was resisting arrests that day, admitting, struggling with Police Officers, but he said at the time of the kick, two officers were on top of him and he was no longer a threat. One of the other officers does something was wrong with him that day. I dont know what caused him to do all of the things he did. Technically officer edward is suspended without pay and its possible he could, in the end, keep his job despite that video because what he was convicted of was a misdemeanor. Heres a look underneath the storm with nearly 200 lightning strikes in the last 15 minutes, so this is a thunderstorm that 50,000 feet. And right now, thats moving off to the northeast. Theres the signature of a tornado when a thunderstorm, that hook, the storm and thats moving up by 44. So that could affect Oklahoma City over the next hour. I think the worse will go to the Southern Side of the city, so well be watching that. Back to our own weather here. Just about to round up april which is close to average. A little above, remember, we started out the month so warm. The third week of the month was warm, and now weve backed off, and it has been a dry month. Thats a fortune when you have below normal temperatures. Weve had a fair amount of rain, thats the good side, but it hasnt been the case. Were below average.
