According to the Business Owner he says all of a sudden he was here, it was busy, and he heard somebody yell the word car. Then all of a sudden people started jumping out of the way. This suv smashed through the prestige barbershop on long island sending two people to the hospital with minor injuries. This would have been a lot worse. He just stuck his head out of the window and said everyone move i cant stop the car. You see a car that was not speeding, but driving towards the window and then slammed through it and kept driving. I heard the guy saying and yelled that the brakes are not stopping. Reporter we dont know why the brakes failed to work. It happened just before 5 00 on friday afternoon at this strip mall near jackson avenue. Witnesses say that people were and leg injuries. We grabbed some alcohol bottles, some first aid stuff. We went over there and started helping out. They had paramedics and everything that took over. Reporter as crews boarded up the business tonight, Police Conducted their investigation. The shop owner says looking at the damage is yet another reminder of this close call. Thank god because it could have been a lot worse. Reporter and no charges driver. A zoo keeper was mauled to death by a malan tiger. It is not physical to the public and the zoo said that guests were never at risk.
