are patrolling over times square allows them a tactical advantage in the event of trouble. one unit you will not see are the officers with emergency services, they keep an eye above the crowd and suspicious and call in heavily armed members of the critical response command. throughout times square as the excitement builds, officers are able to move freely among them gaining unseen
