The campaign hasnt told us where this tweet originated from, where this image originated from and whether it was a white supremacist. It did have that sort of hate on it but they are not being very clear about where it first appeared despite the repeated questions to that effect. All right. Tweeting and counter tweeting is not what trump did all weekend. He met with mike pence and today he is campaigning with core core corker. He is the highest ranking to go to trump tower and meet with donald trump. So he was certainly in the running for a while. We didnt hear about him. To have him come up is a sign he is one of the top contenders. This is somebody who has been unpredictable this entire time. It is unusual for anyone to see who he might be considering. If you consider that this case has to go or made very well on recommendation of the bureau going to the Justice Department and they say have a grand jury this case could go on for a week or more to present the facts. There are a ton of questions. She has to understands a couple of agents flew everything abokn the case. They knew how to interpret the answers. This is a very dangerous thing. While she is not under oath if she didnt tell the truth to the fbi she opened herself up to another prosecution. If she was not under oath but she didnt tell the truth would that be breaking the law . If she didnt tell the truth, you have seen it a thousand times, that people are interviewed by the fbi and do not tell the truth, they may not be tried and convicted for the violation but they do get in trouble for lying during the course of the inquiry. Yes, she would be vulnerable to prosecution. And as you mentioned earlier, this was voluntary. Had she not done it what would happen . She could get subpoenaed while on the campaign triail. It would look significantly worse. I think probably the next step would have been to determine whether or not they will have a grand jury. If they do she would be subpoenaed. We learned james comey will be speaking today. How closely tied is he to this investigation . Director comey knows everything single detail of this investigation. He is a tremendously bright giechlt guy. He knows what has gone on. He has directed the investigation and he will leave no stone unturned until he is ready to present it to the department. And you dont think three hours of questions would close that down . Absolutely not. It isnt even close to being enough. They have all of the questions they have drafted for the interview. Not only do they have the questions, they knew what the answers were. She could add maybe some clinton response. What does that mean . What is the clintonesque response . One of the questions will be is this a vetting meeting where donald trump is considering both of these people for a running mate spot or could it be Something Different like a keynote speaking address. These are things we dont have nailed down and perhaps its not even resolve yet but being more public about potential vp candidates as a way to get interest up. We know the short list is getting longer and we know that the time is getting shorter for donald trump. He has less than two weeks until the start of his campaign. They say that the burden of proof is way too high in order to get somebody off of this list. All of that being said where the real question will be this week is what exactly moves forward on the floor. There are competing democratic proposals.
