thanks for joining us today. 12 soldiers from ft. hood were swept away in surging floods when their 2 1/2 ton army truck overturned in high water. at least five died, three were rescued and hospitalized. four remain unaccounted for at this hour as the search continues on air and on foot. the army division's commander major general said the first cavalry division is grieving. greg abbott said that texas stands ready to provide any assistance to ft. hood as they deal with this tragedy. the brave men and women stationed at ft. hood and across our country put their lives on the line every day. rain dropped in six inches causing the flash floods. violent protesters overshadowed another trump event last night. this time, in san jose, california. hundreds of anti-trump protesters took to the streets as trump held a rally there. some were shove and egged by protesters. and badly beaten. john podesta plassed the violence saying that attacking over political disagrees has no place in the election. san jose police say that one officer was assaulted and a few arrests made. while that happened outside, trump was railing against hillary clinton inside. >> the only reason she's behaving like this and the only reason she's been dragged so far left, believe me, she doesn't want to go to jail over the e-mails, okay? >> i don't think the protests going away and i think cleveland is a bigger deal. i think we can expect protests. they have gotten more violent. and increasingly just more and more places. since he became the presumptive nominee. i can't imagine them going away in cleveland. >> kind of scary to think what cleveland might look given the protests we have seen so far. especially if it continues to build. well, the foreign policy speech focused on going after trump, with stinging one liners. is this the most effective attack? >> i think this is an effective attack for clinton. this something that democrats have been pushing her to do for a while. we have seen her surrogates going after trump, saying he wasn't qualified. hit him on trump university. her she was in a place that she's very strong. foreign policy is something that clinton does well with. she was contrasting her experience with donald trump and came after him in the harshest light we have seen yet. i think it was very effective. >> well, you mentioned trump university. after all the allegations, trump says he wants to reopen the school because quote, there's so much interest in it. is this a businessman who will try to capitalize on any kind of publicity? >> i think this is donald trump trying to spin it in the donald trump's way. you know, he takes to twitter and he talks about things and because everyone is talking about it, i doubt donald trump university is going to reopen. but the fact that everyone is talking about it he's just trying to make -- to turn the conversation from negative to the positive. >> all right. eliza, thank you. you have a great weekend. >> thanks, you too. just ahead, has the big foot been discovered?
