and committing the assault on the gentleman who is doing his job, -- i don't think it's emblematic of the city. but i do think it speaks to a level of discourse that's in the atmosphere still around race. not just in alabama. but again, throughout this country. i think there's a lot of work for us to be done. a lot of work for us to do. and a lot more things to be done whether at the grassroots level, or the corporate level, throw to make sure that we're having the conversations, and that we're not taking steps back like we just mentioned. that those who -- and those who lead the montgomery bus boycott are really paving the way for us to be here we don't to step back, we don't want to see that aggression. we want to see that there are a multi cultural coalition to come together to push back of the dog whistles, bullhorns, and at the outright actions
