i think we can see even more of it going into the midterms. the fact that mccarthy and republicans refused to rein this in, just shows the direction they are on. they are doing this for the same reason mccarthy went down in trump's rain days after the january 6th attack. his allegiances lie with trump and doing whatever it takes to appeal to trump's face. we know that right now with folks like representative bogart, lying about other members. spewing dangerous anti-muslim rhetoric. that is the lane that they want to play. and that is the lane they are going to continue to play. i think the other thing to emphasize here, is that in saying these things, they are creating a very dangerous and harmful work environment for all of the members. especially the members of color and the woman of color in congress. i'm grateful that democrats are the only one standing up. mccarthy has demonstrated he cannot be a leader. he is incapable of it. and unwilling to be a leader that the gop needs in this moment. >> two friends of ours for good
