and open defines of the constitutional precedent set by roe versus wade. this development is a violation of the bodily autonomy of millions of texans. and it will disproportionately hurt women of color, disabled women, and poor folks. i leave the details of the law for someone else. it's been covered very well by my colleagues on this network. instead, i want to address -- i want to really get to the hypocrisy of the party that calls itself, quote, pro-life. but only when it comes to abortion because these are the same folks who have consistently been pro-gun, pro-war, and pro-death penalty. meanwhile, once these pregnancies come to term, these people are nowhere to be found for the rest of that child's life. no paid family leave. no food stamps.
