Police say the 26 yearold officer was shot once in the chest while offduty inside of his Delaware County home, authorities immediately launched an investigation and they are expect to file homicide charges later today. Police say it happened just after 4 30 p. M. At this home in the 600 block of magnolia drive, officers responded to a report of the shots fired arrived on the scene and found a four year veteran officer in an upstairs bedroom with a single gunshot wound to the chest.
