"eyewitness news" reporter syma chowdhry is live at philadelphia police headquarters with the very latest on that investigation, syma? >> reporter: that is right, police are investigating this murder mystery after a man was hit by a car, and then shot, multiple times, and the evident set on fire. with shots fired and a koran fire police have been investigating two scenes scenes after a man was found dead. victim was hit by a car on the 4700 block of romona avenue around 8:30 last night. after striking the victim police say that the assailant got out and shot the victim multiple times. he was pronounced dead at the scene. shortly thereafter police found the vehicle on fire. right now police are looking for the gunman who may have burns from the fire. police are looking for the weapon involved in this case. they have not identified the victim but we do know it is a man in his 30's. we are live at police headquarters, syma chowdhry for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". new this morning as a suspect drunk driver wraps their truck around a pole, it happened at roosevelt boulevard and devereaux avenue just before 3:00 a.m. the the crash blocked the the intersection for about an hour. investigators tell cbs-3 that the driver was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition this morning. also developing police are trying to figure out who killed two women in northeast philadelphia. they were found shot in the head in the 47 hundred block of vista street in the holmesberg neighborhood. "eyewitness news" reporter noel mcclaren spoke to grieving family members. >> just go over there and shoot my sister like that. she was so innocent. >> reporter: violence on vista street leaving two brothers in tears. >> you take my sister away like that, that is not cool. >> reporter: police say two females in their 50's were shot in the head and killed inside of the row home that they lived in together shortly before 7:00. according to family, one woman who was receiving treatment from a visiting nurse had taken in the other. >> whoever needed, you know, she helped them, she took them in. >> reporter: victim's brothers tells "eyewitness news" that the two women were living together for two months and somewhere in that time his sister received death threats from a man name james. >> she never said why. >> reporter: he tells us that the gunfire may have been related to the rift between two families. just two months ago he says the victim's grandson was shot 11 times but he hopes this was the end of it. >> i hope it is over now, whoever dit, i hope it the is over now. a grand son and now her. >> reporter: we did see a few people taken in for questioning but police won't comment on who those people were. we're in northeast philadelphia, noel mcclaren for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". investigators this morning in trenton are looking for this man that they say posed as a police officer and then sexually assaulted a female store clerk. it happened yesterday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock on the 800 block of south broad street. police say suspect had a small black radio on him and a handgun. he is accused of taking the clerk into a bathroom to assault her, the suspect left the store and then flagged down a tan toyota cover role a anyone with information is asked to contact the police there in trenton. wilmington's i495 bridge is now fully reopen, the bridge was off limits in both direction from his 12th street to terminal avenue since june. drivers began using the north bound lanes yesterday, southbound lanes were reopened last month. work to construction of new support columns and realign bridge was completed a week ahead of schedule. the bridge was originally closed june 2nd after a driver noticed four columns tilting. dell dot says that the soil, stockpiled underneath the bridge may have been part of the problem. to new york now where thousands of people, and killed by a police office are more than two weeks ago. two rallies were held on saturday, st. louis county naacp held a youth march, protesters went to the site where the unarmed teen was shot by officer darren wilson two weeks ago. the supporters of the officer wilson rallied as well, several nights have of calm have since replaced days of unrest there in ferguson. meantime the white house is reviewing the programs that equipped local police departments with military gear. the examination comes in the aftermath of the police response in ferguson, officials say they will look at the amount morning. here we have the schuylkill expressway between girard and spring garden. to the left of the screen martin luther king drive just remember that is closed for recreational activity from eakins oval out to the falls bridge until 5:00 o'clock this evening. overall your area bridges are looking good this morning, on the ben franklin bridge though we have construction that is in the right lane heading in towards philadelphia, so only two lanes of traffic can get in towards philadelphia but not causing any delay at this time, obviously traffic looking good this morning over ben franklin bridge. the also making your way eastbound in towards new jersey no problems to report, heading to the jersey shore traffic looks good here on the ben franklin in towards new jersey again and in "eyewitness news" at 6700 block of mcmahon avenue. seventy-eight year-old mother told police that she shot her son in the stomach after he broke into her bedroom and pointed a gun at her. she also said he appeared to be drunk and threat tone strangle her. police say they will charge the son with aggravated assault. a jury convicts a bensalem teenager in the rapes and sexual assault of ten girls. nineteen year-old josh benson, could be sentenced to more than 80 years in prison. the prosecutors say that benson sexually assaulted girls age 14 to 17, between 2011 and 2013. the defense argue that the sex acts were consensual but the jury disagrees. search is underway for a bold shoplifter in maple shade, a man was caught on camera stealing 19 packs of red bull energy drinks from the she got home she called the store and expect to the manager who admitted that the vanilla syrup container was contaminated with a cleaning chemical. and police in bristol, connecticut say this woman 22-year old kelce james, fell asleep drunk inside a bar all while her two-year old daughter was outside in their car. authorities say that it was only after they rush james to the hospital that they found out about her daughter. they track her down and discover the toddler in her car seat. james is facing multiple charges and free, on 50 you this dollars, bond. not all performers are on board 70's throughout the poconos and just about every place else. close to 80 degrees. we might not get to 80 degrees but it should be a couple degrees warmer then it should be yesterday when we might have
