Police say jerry did need six staples in his neck, but he is expected to make a full recovery. Turning to weather now, matt, unfortunately, going to be a little bit of the same today that we had yesterday. Yep, we had the thunderstorms came through last night, people were hoping , you know, i was one of them, neighbor would cool us down, now will. Wont be quite as hot. But the thing is the humidity will be back. So were kind of so stick. I cant catch full break. Good news, light at the end of the tunnel. Relief is coming, it will be here before we know t thats good news. Lets take a look outside here on our sunday morning, in the poconos, it was a pretty nice day up north of the city yesterday with a little bit cooler than what we had here in philly. And overall, even though we did have few light showers, again, earlier to the north than we did here in center city again it was not as hot further north yesterday, but it was a warm day for us, across the delaware valley, really, pretty much throughout our saturday afternoon. We got all the way to 93 degrees, once again, so by hitting 93 yesterday, thats five days in a row where weve seen 90 degrees or more. So again, we are definitely in the throws after heatwave for sure here in philly. Our average high for this time of year, 87. So definitely above that. Now, the good news for us, as i just said, temperatures today will be a little bit cooler than what weve h so might actually miss out on the 90s across philly, as we go through the afternoon hours today. Unfortunately the humidity is back. So it is kind of, you know, not completely clearing things out. That will will be coming in the next couple of afternoon noons, temperatures, as we wake up, in the 70s across the area, pretty much just like we woke up yesterday morning, 74 millville, 77 atlantic city, at the airport, 72 in trenton, six an up in mount pocono this morning, 71 out in reading. But again, the big story is just how muggy it is, and youre going to feel that as do you step out the door. Last three hours, satellite and radar, not whole lot out there. Couple of light showers for the most part, thats pretty much it. All of the heavier rain we had in the evening and overnight last night, that has since pushed off the coast. There is this area every low pressure eastern great lakes, stationary front there, just settled over central pa then back down to the west as well. Tan just kind of is going to sit there throughout our afternoon it, will eventually, at least this hope, will push little bit east. That will will push our front just slightly south, so, overall, again, our conditions arent going to change too much in the next couple of days. With that front sitting over top of us, we do have the chance for showers and thunderstorms, and those today could be once again in that severe range. We are in that slight risk, which is our second of five levels of severe werth. So our greatest threat today is going to be the chance for maybe some locally heavy rain and also some gusty winds, lightning always a factor, hail, we put it into the moderate range, i think thats on the lower ends, really what we are being looking for, and tornado risk very, very low if any at all. So see for the afternoon pretty much quiet. Go with mostly cloudy conditions. Then we start to see showers, thunderstorms, 10 00 northwest of the city, by midnight or so they get little closer, push through the metro here, by about 5 00 tomorrow morning. So just in time for many of us getting up. Looks like maybe they do last through about the midmorning hours, then by the time we get to late morning monday they start to clear out, few spotty showers and thunderstorms, not completely ruled out as we get into tomorrow afternoon. 86 degrees for our High Temperature today. Again, staying stick at this, mostly cloudy skies, back to the 90s on monday, but all look being forward to tuesday and wednesday, 85, and 83 degrees, jan, lower humidity, not much happening, and then we start to warm things back up, though, as again, the second half of the week. Couple of days for a break, though, i like that, thank you , matt.
