"eyewitness news" told officers vick them was waiting outside the house. when two men walk up and fired the shots. updating our breaking news new york city police officer is now dead after she was ambushed in what officials are calling an unprovoked attack. this happened in the bronx at 12:30 this morning, police say that the officer was just sitting in her patrol car when gunman walked up and shot her in the head. her partner called for help. officer was rush to the hospital where she later died, responding officers shot and killed that suspect. doing the job that she loved as all of the and all of a sudden i heard this loud, boom, boom, boom. all i seen was a driver sitting there, blood all over, and then the passenger apparently jumped out and ran over there and saw between them two
