man lying between two parked cars in the 300 block of west seymore street who had been shot multiple times in his torso this happened before 2:00, police are talking to eyewitnesses. >> they saw, two, young males rubbinge on seymore toward wayne avenue. >> police don't know if those two young men were involved in the shooting, victim lived in the neighborhood but not on the block where he was shot, no word just yet on a motive. and we say another man is fighting for his life after being shot in the forehead in west germantown. this happened on the 6300 block of moyland street just after 10:30. "eyewitness news" told officers vick them was waiting outside the house. when two men walk up and fired the shots. updating our breaking news new york city police officer is now dead after she was ambushed in what officials are calling an unprovoked attack. this happened in the bronx at 12:30 this morning, police say that the officer was just sitting in her patrol car when gunman walked up and shot her in the head. her partner called for help. officer was rush to the hospital where she later died, responding officers shot and killed that suspect. doing the job that she loved as all of the men and women in blue standing here do right now keeping this great city safe. this is an unprovoked attack on the two officers sitting in the dhv. >> authorities have just identified officer as 48 area for music, food, performance all day long. city did have to increase, security after four people were shot last fourth of july. how about this for a fire works replacement, the town of , were some early reports that someone may be trapped in the home but looking at these live pictures being brought to you buys chopper three you can see the flames just raging in the sky. you can see how much smoke and fire fighters really multiple fire fighters there, trying to put this out as quickly as possible. hopefully there is no one inside because i cannot imagine that would be a good outcome. >> it is located, before they had a wider shot you could see the house next door is very close as well. they are trying to prevent this from moving to the other structure right next door quickly as possible. in other news this morning a violent end to the fourth of july holiday in the germantown section of philadelphia. >> three separate shootings left one man dead and two others critically injured. one of the shootings happened here on the 500 block of east walnut lane. police found the victim lying in the street right in front of his own home just before 1:30 this morning. he was rushed to the hospital where he is in critical condition. meantime, police are directing their investigation, toward that toy motorcycle you saw there found just inches from the victim. >> it is in the crime scene, it is right next to the crime scene and it was inches away from where the victim's body was found and it is also just inches away from where the ballistics evidence was found. >> right now detectives are at the hospital waiting for victim to get out of surgery so they can question him. and clean up crews this morning are hard at work along the parkway where thousands were just partying for the fourth of july last night. >> the celebration is as big as last night calls for a massive clean up effort. this was between 20th and 25th street on the ben franklin parkway heavy flames, right now this is happening, this is 2700 block of june avenue. in addition to the house fire, it is hard to see where i'm looking, but we hear there are also some cars on fire, maybe the left side of our screen, so, there were early reports that someone may be trapped inside that house, but we are working to confirm that at this point all we know it is a fully engulfed house fire, 2700 block of june avenue, in bensalem. new video of a shooting that has left a trail of destruction in eddystone, delaware county. a man who was shot in chester managed to drive to eddystone where he smashed into at least four parked cars. we are looking at debris left behind at ninth and eddystone avenue. we just spoke to the man who owned two damaged cars. >> around 11:30 last night, sleeping, and all of a sudden i heard this loud, boom, boom, boom. all i seen was a driver sitting there, blood all over, and then the passenger apparently jumped out and ran over there and saw between them two vans over there. >> the man who you just heard from there said he say more than a dozen bullet holes in the shooting victim's car. switching gears now it was a fourth of july tradition here in
