>> being over weight, being 45 or older, being physically inactive. if you are a woman who had diabetes while you were pregnant, gestational diabetes, and if you are a member of a high risk ethnic group whether african-american, hispanic, latino, asian american, american indian. >> i notice family history. you have to talk to your relatives to find that out. 25% of people with full blown type ii diabetes don't know it. that's scary. what is the serious complications? >> there are serious complications of do you understand. unfortunately blindness, amputation, kidney disease, heart attack, stroke, other nerve damage. >> those are serious. if somebody is watching and say i think i might have some of those risk factors, what do they do? "eyewitness news" is getting an exclusive inside look as archeologists work to identify the remains found at old city construction site. the archeologist from rutgers camden are trying to identify each person burried near second and arch, at what used to be the first baptist church burial grounds. out of the hundreds of remains, the team found 77 coffins that were in great shape, and nervily 150 bodies out of coffins, but those bodies were intact. >> we tried as much as possible to get people out whole. and if we can gotten tire coffins out intact, that's what we aim to do. >> now, hundreds of the bones will be photographed and catalogued before being reburied. remains will be intered at mount mariah cemetery in southwest philadelphia. this morning, we are learning more about a new electronics ban that just went into effect for some international flights. the temporary ban impact travelers coming directly to the u.s. from certain airports in eight middle eastern and north african countries, any device larger than cell phone must be stored in checked luggage. critics say it is a ways of time. supporters however say they want air travel safe. >> this is a different world. we got to protect the. sa. and makes smart decisions about how we protect. so inconvenience, but will adapt do what we need to do. >> i mean, people want to use that time to be productive. >> say the new directive not based on any specific or credible threat of an imminent attack. >> well, president trump will make a pitch for the gop replacement for the affordable care act today. he's meeting with house republicans in a closed door session on capitol hill. meanwhile, top republican lawmakers are proposing changes. one includes larger benefits for older and disable people on medicaid, the house scheduled to vote on the bill on thursday. >> q and a session of the kneel gorsuch connelly makes hearings begin today. nominee faces hours of questioning, from the senate judiciary committee. democrats plan to press judge gorsuch on everything from abortion and guns to his independence from president trump in his opening statement. gorsuch pledged to be independent or hang up the robe. getting an office in the west wing, first daughter not getting official government job or salary, she will however get government issued communication devices as security clearance for classified information. her husband, jarrod, is senior aid to the president. >> president trump released his budget blueprint for 2018 which begins october 1st. >> business analyst, jill schlessinger, joins us liver from new york to answer some questions you may have about the proposal. good morning, jill. >> good morning. >> an important difference. explain the difference between the deficit and the debt. >> i have to say, this is the most frequently fielded question that i've answered in the last week. because it is bringing everything up for everyone. okay, so here is your reminder, deficit. it is an annual calculation. the difference between what the government takes in, and what it sends. take it like your family annual budget. now according to the congressional budget office, the deficit for fiscal year 2017 is expected to be $559 billion, or about 3% of gross domestic product. now, the debt, that is total amount that we borrowed year after year, kind of like your outstanding credit card balance, which borrowed to make you the difference, national debt stands at $20 trillion, divided into debt held by the public, 14.4 trillion, and debt that the government essentially owes itself, five and a half trillion. >> well, jill, the trump proposal provided some details about spending, but what does it omit? >> well, you know, this plan outlined changes to what's called dis greg airasia spending. and that includes most defense, education, transportation, programs, and it is determine through the congressional appropriations process. so, what the plan let out was any particular mention of something called mandatory or non-discretionary spending. now, that is spending govern by law, includes entitlement programs like social security, medicare, medicaid, also unemployment federal retirement programs, student loans and deposit insurance. here is a critical issue. 60% of all federal spending is considered mandatory, so that's why it was sort of notable that we didn't see that. now, just remember, all of the expert say most presidential budget pro polls as go no where, weaver to wait for congress to weigh in. >> still some time left. jill, thank you. >> well, in other news, some resident in philadelphia's manayunk section aren't happy over a proposal to build a new apartment complex that could wipe out hundreds of parking spaces. >> a developer is planning to turn the former site of the st. mary of the assumption church into 100 unit apartment complex with 132 parking spaces for tenant. now, community leaders say the move would eliminate huge clung of neighborhood parking. >> the law says this parking lot represents about 30% of the parking in the neighborhood. so it is a big hit. >> and other feel the move may force nearby community center to shut it doors, some of the other revenue it receives comes from renting out it facilities for events. well up next in the health watch, good reason foremen to watch their waistlines while they're young. >> plus, the internet has been freaking out over this giant, look at it, giant chicken, huge, and now getting much needed explanation for how this thing could be so big. pat?
