Tonight police busted up a burglary ring investigators say brazen suspects stole jewels worth millions from the main line and other places and basketball star was among the victims. Spokesmen for Toronto Raptors previously said lowery declined to comment but these burglars, according to police, were hitting high end home is here in the main line. That jewelry that they took was then fenced on jewelers row. Police are trying to get it back to the rightful owners but we caught up with the man accused in the center of the burglary ring. Police arrested him in january and tied him to a described massive burglary ring. Set up was consistent with a large jewelry fencing operation, and included pim okays west stolen jewelry and silver. Reporter burglaries go back to 2013. Police aware of the 15 cases in pennsylvania with you believe shesod and four others charged are also responsible for burglar is in new jersey and delaware. Days after our winter storm warmer temperatures have brought falling ice. Some sidewalks have been cord ond off to keep people out of harms way and people are being warned to look out. It is also coating sidewalks an inside streets creating a major headache for those trying to dig out. Days after a winter storm blew through our region, philadelphians are still digging out. Im annoyed by it. The side streets are bad. Nobody can get through. People are trying to shovel their cars out. People are slipping. Reporter Bensalem Township Police have become first Police Department in the country to have this almost instant dna system,. I am amazed at this new iteration which i call almost jokingly a magic box. Reporter system allows Bensalem Township Police to streamline dna Testing Process , they can test at the station, instead of the sending all of their samples out to state labs. The state was doing process 18 months we are doing testing every single day in 90 minutes not quite solving case as fast as cops on csi do it. I will start a new sample. We had all of that snow melt, drifts every where, ponding on the roadways, that ace you will refreezing tonight with temperatures and in the teens and 20s, we will be dwelling that frozen snow melt, black ice, difficult to see but really transparent so use extreme caution if you had are traveling about on the road and on the sidewalks tonight and early tomorrow morning, but for our friday more sunshine is in store, much less wind, so that will be nice, maybe not so nice some snow showers developing as we head into tomorrow night, likely developing after about 10 00 p. M. And they will be scattered in nature. We have several more chances, we have a few snowflakes, wintry mix, light in intensity transition to go rain to 48 degrees. Then sunday we could see morning snow showers,e of i95 , future weather showing us, friday looking good, through much of the day, cloud deck increasing in the evening hours, and is there our chance , of a few snow showers breaking out scattered in nature as we head into Early Saturday Morning or more, widespread that chance of the wintry mix but again it will be light in intensity.
