The officers were called to the 4300 block of boone street before 3 00 this morning. They say a man tried to get in with scissors to her room. Police then say she shot him in the neck. She claims selfdefense. Also overnight a man is lucky after being stabbed in philadelphias poplar section, it happened here on the 700 block of thort 11th street, before 2 00 this morning. The 54 yearold man was stabbed once in the stomach, fortunately he is expected to be okay. No word yet on who stabbed him well, the reputed drug kingpin known as el chapo is in one of the most secure lock ups in the entire country. Joaquin guzman appeared this federal court in brooklyn, he faces a long list of charges including murder, drug traffic king and kidnapping. Guzman pleaded not guilty to charges in the 17 count indictment.
