Currently about 125 miles southeast of cape hatteras. Swim something prohibited in the outer banks right now, and officials are encouraging people who live in the area to review emergency plans. A lot of folks are down at the outer banks catching those last few days of summer, katie, before labor day . Absolutely, and even if you are going to stay relatively local at the delaware beaches at the jersey shore, this will have impact on us, too, thankfully not direct impact from any of these systems, but yet there is actually not just that depression, but also got hurricane out in the open waters of the atlantic, and another depression, off the coast of cuba. So, there is a lot happening out there. Lets go ahead, take another look right now at just shore shot. Beautiful beginning to the day. This may look awfully innocent, my friends, but please keep in mind, that at ocean city, really up and down again the jersey costes well as delaware beaches you could end up with dangerous rip current, so important, in the days ahead to swim near the lifeguards, if you plan to take a dip, but also, keep in mind, that if there are any flags up, you really need to heed themment nice wide zoom. You see the activity off the shores of North Carolina, also, that little bubble up, just west of cuba there, those are our two tropical depressions, neither of these systems have any direct impact on us. We do still have gaston out in the open waters of the atlantic, already churning up the surf. So those three systems combined, although no direct impact on us, are going to have the chance to really churn up our surf. Here is a look at tropical depression eight, the one that will eventually gather the name hermine, we think, will make bit of righthand turn. So it clips the North Carolina coast, and then moves off shore, churning up the surf as she goes, but certainly going to be thankfully an indirect impact to us as opposed to direct one. Updating breaking news in camden new Jersey Police say driver lost control, and hit nearly everything in it path. Quite literally picking through debris here, we have reports of two people hospitalized, one we know, eject from the a vehicle found lying on the sidewalk with injuries to his head, and leg, while, meantime, he was taken to Cooper University hospital, and here on scene, Camden County police and crews have been picking through the debris, and also, clearing through the scene, trying to make sense of what happened here, overnight. Lets take you now to some video here, from closer to when this wreck occurred. Camden police say they got report of a car speeding north on haddon avenue, just south of newton, when they lost control. Spinning, and striking a power pole, another vehicle also striking a porch as well. So severe it, will have to be removed and repaired. And at some point police say a man from that vehicle, it is a red chrysler sedan, was ejected, reportedly suffering head and leg injuries, he was, again, taken to cooper hospital, and on scene we are hearing he was transport in the critical condition. We also spoke to a man here on scene, who says, hes still in shock by the scene he saw. I had seen the car, i guess, come speeding down, but what really drew my attention was the car hitting the first car in line down there. And the house, and everything else, that it hit. The wreckage, burning vehicle, the motor was on fire, and the cops showed up like split second afterward. Very dramatic scene there overnight. Looking south here, on haddon, perhaps you can see that red mangled car, it is now on top of that tow bed. Thats the engine hanging out in front of the car. All right, dust off the lunch boxes, grab the brown paper bags, the kids are headed back to class, that means parents will be once again Packing School lunches. So whats the best fuel for school . Jim is live in the cafe with family physician doctor rob dan off. Hi, guys. Hello brooke. I didnt even realize we call this the cafe. I call it the lunch room. Everyone says that breakfast is the most important meal of the day for kids, but lunch is very important as well why . You know lunch is where the kids have a loft control you dont know if hell buy something, so real important to talk about stuff they like try to make it healthy. This way, because if they eat poorly for lunch, theyll fall asleep, cant concentrate in the afternoon, wont have the energy to do the activities they want to. What are some of the options we have here . You want to try to have the five groups for lunch. So, if you can, get a little bit of fruit in there, you want to get some high protein, like turkey, or tuna, or eggs, with multi grain, so like multi grain bread, real healthy for them. And so these are good. So each of the five groups in there, over here tuna with a little cheese, apples, grapes, multi grain crackers, real healthy to keep them alert. Looks good but im thinking one is better than the other. Pre packaged lunchable types, theyre not as healthy as maybe some other ones. This if you have this with some turkey, and corn, and salad and beans, this tastes 120 calories, fine nerve here, keep them alert, a lot healthier than the other package. And dont want the kids headed to the soda machine . No soda if you can. Almond milk, or milk, there are type of drinks over here, only 25 calories, fruit drink, it is natural, really good. But water is the best. Dont forget you have the vegetable juice you can drink, a loft kids like that, low salt. These are healthy ones, but water is the best. One of the things, lunch boxes have really, you know, gone to major revolution, since i was a kid. Me too. You have the ice packets, what do things do parent needs to remember about the lunch box and the container itself . Get an insulated one. Keep foods cold that need to be cold. Have handy wipes to wash their hands, make sure it is clean on the inside. Then make sure it is portable so when they bring it, they store it in the fridge or keep it cool. And then theyll have healthy cool lunch for themselves. Make sure to clean this out. A lot of times parents use the reuseable bottles for some of these drink, and i mean those are like breeding ground for germs. Youre right. Make sure clear inside, clean, watch it each day there is way you dont have to worry about that and it is healthy food without the bacteria added on there. Now when you get home from school obviously you need toking eat. You dont want to be headed straight to the chips. What do we have here . Couple of things, i like making cucumber sandwiches. Basically sometimes mozul, a little red pepper, some turkey on there, really good, filling, protein, fiber, i also have some bananas with peach yogurt on there, frozen bananas, great, or frozen grapes with whole yogurt on there, good protein, great snakes. They like hummus, dip apple slices in hummus or, organic peanut better. Healthy smacks for them. Also popcorn, popped, not the fried kind, snow is good for them. It will keep their Energy Levels and it is not a lot of calories and not much added sugar. So this is great. A lot more options than just plane old Peanut Butter and gel. I it has changed since we were kids, i know. Thank you, doctor rob, as always, we head back into the studio with three things to go. Coming up. For senate, Katie Mcginty or pat toomey .
