from clinching the nomination. she claimed victory in tuesday's kentucky primary and appealed for party unity. she defeated bernie sanders by just 1900 votes. meanwhile sanders is campaigning in california ahead of the state's primary, it votes along with new jersey on june 7th. sanders is delivering his own unity message for the democratic party. he defeated clinton in tuesday's oregon primary. presumptive republican nominee donald trump is trying to bolster his conservative credentials. today he he unveiled a list of his potential supreme court nominees. trump chose these is 11 judges based on conservative credentials and willingness to up hold the constitution. former pennsylvania governor and philadelphia mayor ed rendell made controversial comments about women in the u.s. in an interview with the washington post, about donald trump's statements about females, rendell said quote there are probably more ugly women in america then attractive women, suggesting that trump's comments would hurt him in the general election because people quote, take that stuff personally. our natasha brownies talking with governor rendell and will have have his response tonight on "eyewitness news" at is 11:00. breaking news, chopper three live over a serious accident in medford, burlington county. it appears that three vehicles were involved. thinks at route 70 and main street. right now we have no word on injuries. we are working to get you more information, on this accident. drivers are being urged to avoid that area, as this scene is cleared. suspect whom police say robbed a woman have after she left casino with lots of cash is in custody tonight. this is the suspect gary taylor, on saturday night police say he followed a woman, out of harrah's in chester all the way to her home in sekane. he made his move in the front door stealing the seven grand of cash that she won in the casino. >> he grabs her, and hollers out, give me that, pulls on it, shoves her, and then takes off. >> reporter: police persued taylor down a deadened and taken in custody. they recovered victim's cash. police say this whole ordeal shows you you why should take your winningness check form and not cash. authorities show off the results of the two year investigation in the heroin traffic nothing kent and sussex counties in delaware. in several raid, police seized heroin with a street value of more than a million-dollar. they also seized guns, cash, and vehicles. thirteen suspects now face drug, weapons, money laundering, conspiracy and other charges. turning to weather now out there, a few breaks of blue skies here and there but there are a few showers moving by, that brought cloud cover back in the city, or slowly trying to claw out of this cool, rainy pattern and then by the end of the week we have got great weather to look forward to lets start off with what is happening right now, storm scan three shows scattered showers off to the north and west, a few more cloud blowing in because of that and that cloud blow up from those showers into center city even though rain is not and a few showers moving through mercer county and exiting from the trenton area up toward new york city at the moment. there are a few showers over central pennsylvania, can't rule out a few sprinkles through the evening and tonight. temperatures right now have dropped a little with the cloud cover moving back in. we got to 69 for the high today. sixty-six the current temperature in philadelphia. sixty in atlantic city. sixty-two in reading. we have recorded a trace of precipitation. that means another rain drop was adding to the calendar today. only four dry days this month, and as he we finish out the week we will have a couple dry, sunny, pleasant days especially on friday to look forward to. the question is how long can it last? unfortunately it will in the last through the weekend. in addition to a beautiful day friday we are tracking a storm with out of the city council meeting this morning. they believe political contributions from the soda industry could influence council. the industry opposes mayor kenney's plan time pose a 3 cents per >> field has been wet, and muddy but we have a couple of nice days on the way. two days to look forward to to finish out the week. today turnout to be not so bad but clouds have rolled back in but now, we're tracking more sunshine and temperatures on their way up. receipts look outside. we have a couple of spots down the shore where we have some sun and a few follow action long the ocean city boardwalk at the moment. pretty nice to the south and east but to the north and west as we look at our live neighborhood network in kutztown the clouds are still in place, there. that is where a few showers are rolling through as we go through remainder of the evening. take a look at cape may courthouse blue skies and beautiful, really all depend where you are this evening. here are the showers we are watching, so again see clear skies down the shore and in the delaware beaches. head back to the west and see a batch have of showers moving in from central pennsylvania, where we're seeing along the turnpike and up in the north and western suburbs. can't rule out a spotty shower through the remained are on have this evening but then we will get into a nicer pattern. so far we have recorded a trace of rain, at the airport and that means 21 out of the last 27 days, we have had at least, a trace, if not more, in the way of rain. it has been a very wet pattern, really for past month or so, but can we break out of that pattern? lets take a look what is ahead as we go through rest of the week. we will start off tomorrow morning with clouds and sunshine. tomorrow, not the most sunny day we have ever seen but we will see some sun returning, maybe a stray sprinkle here and there. we will not sees much of anything. you cannot rule it out. instability in the atmosphere. high pressure overhead friday. friday is best day of the week hand down look at 2:00 p.m. still sunshine but notice, we're on notice here comes the clouds, billowing back in friday night into saturday morning, by 7:00 a.m. you can see a big shield of rain pushing into d.c. and baltimore and by mid afternoon and late morning the rain will get here and just period of rain, and gusty breezes, all day on saturday, saturday, not the day to get outside. i know it is wedding season, little league season, birthday party outdoors, saturday is day to stay indoors. heavy rain. we could see a inch of rain through the day saturday and early sunday morning before we try to clear out. overnight tonight mainly cloudy and cool at 52 degrees. tomorrow better, partly sunny turning warmer, up to 72 which is close to average, and then again friday is nicest day of the week followed by saturday which is the worst day of the week, periods of rain all day long and that will keep us chilly, barely in the lower 60's, a shower possible on sunday, monday maybe a shower but getting better and then it looks like we will start warming up again, by the end of next week. we could ab approaching the 80's, ukee
