The only Reason Police responded to this scene here overnight is because of concerned neighbors, they saw this white car hine me. In the 1600 block of north redfield for hours overnight. They say they saw a man behind the wheel, so they called police to check it out. What they didnt know was that there was 25 year old man inside this car, who had been shot. Now, Police Responded to this scene, here in west philadelphia, around 2 00 a. M. Officers arrived to find this car on, the driver side window down, and the man inside slumped in his seat. They pulled up his shirt and discovered he had been shot at least three times. Now, emergency crews tried to revive him, although unsuccessfully, pronounced him dead at 2 14, at this time no suspect, or motive, after all, Police Responded to this initially as medical call. They are now investigating it as a homicide. Witnesses along the block saw the vehicle with the Engine Running and they saw the male sitting in the driver seat, he appeared to have been sleeping or they thought he was sick, balistic evidence inside of the vehicle, so it appears that this victim was sitting in the driver seat when he was shot and killed. Now, homicide detectives are on the case, they are working the case, they are looking for Surveillance Video and cameras in the neighborhood.
