Police say this is him, Early Saturday Morning on spruce, forcing the victim into her apartment before police say he beats, rapes, and then robs her. This appears to have been a crime of opportunity. Reporter police say have after the attack garcia stole her keys and her phone. They traced it here to this neighborhood in south philadelphia. Detectives pinpointed this home on eighth street, where garcia was living with at least three other men, and this woman. In spanish, she tells us that she didnt want to give her name but confirmed living with garcia and speaking to police. Spanish speaking. Reporter she says that shes surprised about the charges and while she didnt know him well garcia seemed like a good person. Monday night police found the victims phone in garcias second floor room. When they arrested him at his job on broad street they found victims keys in his pocket. Police also confirmed today that garcia has been in trouble with immigration and customs enforcement, causing great concern in question as to his status as his immigration stat news this country, meanwhile, police say part of the ongoing investigation, will be to take that dna from the scene, and find out if it is a match for any other open rape cases in this area. Even though that it was diagnosed, as cancer, was stage one, and, they got it in time, and i just feel, very happy, you know, and know, i had it, and it is cured. Reporter doctor mitchell, chair of radiology at penn medicine says it provides three dimensional images, do you see how he can hone in on a certain area. You get a clearer look at the fresh tissue by being able to look at individual slices as opposed to the entire breast, single projection. Reporter penn was part of the study that included over half million women with 3d digital mammography there was a 41 percent increase in the detection of invasive cancer, compared to traditional mammography alone. There was a 15 percent decrease in unnecessary followup test because of false alarms. It would help on both end of the screening process. Reporter lori says uncertainty of in the knowing was worse than the diagnosis that finally came, with the 3d technology. I believe it saved my life. Now for women having 3d mammograms it is just like getting a regular one, you dont feel anything different and many doctors feel they should be used more routinely but they are currently not covered by most insurance plans.
