>> it will be warm. so, you know, revel in the summertime. and know that it is not going anywhere soon. that much i can tell you. we still have heat to deal with. let's talk about where we are this morning, seeing big difference in the weather today, kind of start to see it, little more of clearview, than we've had, as we look at looking at philly, but from the palmyra cove nature park, taking a look, and we've had this hazy muggy start to the days. and it is a little bit better today. little more visibility out there. hot day yesterday. we made it up to 96 degrees, by the way, the hottest day of 2015 yesterday. so, hello, and good-bye to. that will we say hello to better weather today. 76 degrees right now in philadelphia, 72 in allentown, 71 in millville. all in the 60s, 70s, and today we are going to see some thunderstorms roll in. and that's going to help to cool us down as front tracks through. so, philadelphia, high of 86 degrees, you can see at the shore, about 81, and 77, in the poconos, we are all going to have isolated thunderstorms being take the umbrella with you. if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, you are the one that catches the downpour, you will want to have t so, beautiful weekend on tap. look what happened here. average of 82 degrees, look what happens monday, tuesday in particular, really going to warm up. stowe will change things big time. and take us back to the heat. but beautiful weekend, meisha, so, really gorgeous this weekend, and then a little more kick of september sizzle coming your way. >> oh, kyla, i wish i could have just seen that dance you were doing. if they only could see. good morning, tgif, to you. this is what we are looking at, 95 southbound, s curve into center city looking great, actually, looking busy, not busy, but it is still early, but moving in the northbound direction, as women, you can see the volume we have even in the northbound direction on 95. ninety-five, i just showed you, camera about 15 minutes ago at girard, looking, you know, busy, still traveling at posted speeds but certainly volume levels are already out there. here is a look at where we have some construction, woodhaven between roosevelt boulevard and 59 pulled all the way off blocking left lane. but not causing any slow downs. when i looked at this just little bit ago, it was more of single file line. that's breaking up just little bit. that will will be cleared out of the way. that's not causing too many slow downs. slow down, phoenixville closed between ash bridge and greenhill road. use the alternate of pottstown pike for those of you in that area, and also the made in america festival, this weekend, so check your local schedules for all of those closures, nicole, over to you. >> meisha, thank you. burlington county school community is in mourning, after losing two of its members in tragic accidents. student and teachers at helen ford middle school attended vigil honoring fellow classmate and teacher killed in unrelated car accidents. thirteen year old sheinelle died on august 20th from injuries sustained in a accident. one week later her seventh grade teacher, allison macinnis, struck and kill while jogging. >> so cool. i can't go in her classroom. i have to turn the other way, can't, there are so many memories in that room. >> the victim's families who attended the vigil say they're overwelmed by the support they've received from that school community. >> well, the 22 days to go before pope francis begins his historic visit here to philadelphia. and now you will have more chances to see him. that's the good news. organizers scrambled to calm fears after wednesday's news that you needed a ticket for some security zones. they're now releasing 30,000 more tickets to gain access to that area from north 20th street to the front of eakin's oval. >> specially for saturday, for the 26th, is that everybody who gathers on the ben franklin parkway will have an opportunity to see pope francis. >> the free tickets will be available on line starting next week. there is a four ticket limit for each event. pope francis will be in two parades, we're told, one saturday the 26th, the other on sunday, the 27th. all right, well the papal advice sit also bringing the queen of soul to the city of brotherly love. how cool is that? good. so, this is ocean sit, yesterday. it was beautiful day. there were a lot of people out here, on the boardwalk, eating the board walk food. soaking up the sand, the surf, the sun, every last bit of summer is possible. thousands of people are going to be here in ocean city and south jersey beaches, throughout the weekend. so, we decided to ask couple of our few favorite viewers, what they're looking forward to on this long labor day weekends before they have to head back to school. take a listen. >> well, i'm going to go to the beach actually on the weekends, you know what i am saying. i am hoping the weather will be nice. >> i like going boogie boarding at the beach. >> i'm looking forward to trying to sleep in before school starts and spending time with my friends and going to places like the ocean city boardwalk. >> and maybe taking one last ride on a surrey bike. we're not staying in the lanes, brittany, because we're rule breakers in the morning. there are surrey lanes out here, but we're in the pedestrian lane, just having a good time, because who get to ride a surrey bike on the board walk in ocean city when no one else is here? >> that may have happened like ten years ago. >> she was, you guys. she's cool like that. >> stop, stop you. >> know who else is cool? our eyewitness weather watch that's morning, let's start up near the poconos here. 68 degrees, good morning, keith, in sailors berg, he has 95% humidity. oh, my goodness. he says warm, humid it morning, but looking forward to the weekend. things will get much better for us as we head toward the weekends, we head further south look at this one, ed, 6 degrees where he is, too, i have to show you the picture that ed took yesterday morning. beautiful. look at this. gorgeous, hoping that we don't have as much moisture out there this morning, for you, and but, you know,'s humid there too dark and humid, let's hit one more here, it is lynn, and she's in cherry hill, 73 degrees where she is, and again, she's feeling that humidity. we're all feeling the humidity, in the upper 60s, so relief not here quite yet everybody, it is on the way, humidity left look dropping getting into the weekend, big difference here, we get to the pleasant and awesome range saturday and sunday, then we start to kick up again, as we get to monday day. but talk about the weekends. it will be sunny skies, cooler temperatures, beautiful lower humidity, if you're in the city talking mid 80s, at the shore, look at this, over the next three days, sunshine, gorgeous, and look at this upper 70s, by labor day, low eight's, that's what you call perfect beach weather. how about the poconos? maybe headed up there this weekend. also, gorgeous, upper 70s saturday, sunday, monday, sunshine, and some low 80s, so, we're going to see much better forecast today, but comes with a few thunderstorms attached. watching out for that today. we get to the afternoon high of about 86 degrees, tonight we start to clear out, muggy air, start to relent, feel much better getting to the evening, low of 65 degrees, after the storms pass, always love the feeling of like ahh, there it is, much cooler air. and we'll see that as we get into tonight. then it is just gorgeous, across the weekends with all of the sunshine, notice we start to heat up getting into monday, tuesday and wednesday. so some low 90s coming our way, after what we've seen yesterday with a high of 96, we got this, meisha, low 90s? we got this. >> don't you feel like you can take anything today? little rain to get a weekends like that? >> yep. >> easy trade off, right? good morning, everyone, happy friday to you. here is a look at the schuylkill eastbound before montgomery. you can see it is looking really nice on the schuylkill, basically, anywhere that i look at the schuylkill right now, still early, but definitely looking nice as we head toward the 6:00. also, the ben franklin bridge, looking great. this is just a beautiful shot, with all of the lights with the dark sky. looking great here, everyone traveling around, posted speeds for those of you coming from jersey, even on 42, we took a look at 42 freeway little earlier, looking good there. this is a look at woodhaven, weaver some construction, woodhaven road eastbound between roosevelt boulevard and 95. the left lane is blocked. still some cones in place, not causing any slow downs, kind of wrapping itself out now. you can see, just steady stream of vehicles out there still. also, the made in america festival this weekend, as fun as that is, look at all of the stuff going on, septa adding extra service this weekend so, make sure to check your local schedules, and i'll be tweet cents those out as well. then some mass transit checklist, i'll back out of the way here again, september, a and the new jersey transit buses, new schedules, and also, the trolleys, 15, 101, 102, back to normal schedules this weekend, nicole, back to you. >> meisha, a thanks. hey, out of control driver slams into not one but two stores in california. and the crash all caught on tape here. it happened at strip mall in bally village. after the initial crash the driver actually puts the car into reverse, then hits four parked cars. soap, this person just wouldn't stop. the lexus finally came to a stop after crashing into a barber shop, fortunately, no one was hurt. that's the good news in all of. >> this police are trading the crash as an accident. so, wonder what happened there?
