Time right now coming up at 5 43. Lets check with katie. We will get our forecast in lieu of all this rain. We have a lot of it out there. Morning commute will be the worst when it comes to the rain issues weve got out there this morning. We will head to the Weather Watcher Network for current information that were finding from some of our weather watcher. John dell, sent in a rain report, as expect, 50 degrees for him right now in newark, delaware and he says that is a very steady rain. We will take you way north here where a pair of fours is on the thermometer from eileen mur any gilbertsville and she has rain icon. It is i a dark and dreary morning. The amen, sister. Lets go across the border in central new jersey. Mark said 47 degrees currently with the rain icon. We will see that around at board all morning long. In chats worth, new jersey. So that is what you are finding out there. Meanwhile, we will take awe cross the Delaware River here, 47 degrees, gary killian sent this from southampton. We have the rain, out this way a as well. That is what you will find, all across the board here. So this will be a very rough morning commute for you, make sure thaw slow it on down out there, and we will expect to have to track this, basically throughout the typical morning rush hour, a little break by midday and then a fresh round of showers just in time for us as we head into the early evening. So both commutes will be affect, and peeking of being on the roadways, we will send things out to my collogue meteorologist Carol Erickson live with the cbs3 mobile weather lab in Haddon Heights Camden County right now dodging rain drops good morning, carol. They are hard to dodge because they are just about every place. We found them all over. We are heading from route 30, and were in Haddon Heights right now and were on green street and it is just to the right and were on a street that i think it is pretty common, fourth street, where were going to be finding look at the leaves that weve got outside on the street and this is what is going to be happening today, not only do we see thawn believably windy saturday and sunday, but with the rain coming down, the leaves are coming down, so this is going to be hadding to the problems this morning as that rainfalls and takes down any of these loose leaves, colorful as they may be. It will be very slippery under foot. The other issues is some of the ponding. We have seen that on a number of roads with you in the so much here but there is a slope but were heading down in this sleep into area where the leaves are stacked up on the side of the road and you also have got storm drains that will be an issue. That is a blocked storm drain you have got a puddle. That is how it looks out here in haddon height this morning, as the vittoria, you have as got your hand full with these roads this morning as do all of the drivers. I sure to, carol, thanks very much. I love how we can get you outside in the mobile weather lab and give you that live look at what it is like, experiencing the commute this morning because as we take a look at this shot here, looking down a upon the roosevelt boulevard you will notice track is moving by. Volume problems are nonexistent. The problem is the weather. As katie was saying and carol was saying and mentioning ponding. If i can direct your tension here thinks on the northbound side of the roosevelt boulevard, not too far from fox and you are going to have those ponding situations, on a lot of your majors. Give yourself some more time out there as we look at i95 again another slick, rainy wet shot. Ninetyfive southbound we will find slowing through construction zones because it is narrow and weather doesnt help anyone through construction zones or no matter where you are traveling. If you are heading out to the Philadelphia International a airport, services have been resumed for airport regional rails. Great news there but call ahead before you get to the airport because of weather. Youre bound to have some sort of delay. A as we look at our Speed Sensors, dropping ever so slightly, out of the northeast down to the vine. We are used to that. Fiftyfive still on the schuylkill. Fiftyfive on 476. In delays on the pennsylvania turnpike or northeast extension. However, as we take a look into new jersey we have been dealing with an overturn tractor trailer accident on the north bound side of the turnpike at 73, blocking two lanes for quite sometime here and it is still there definitely want to avoid that if you can. You can avoid things like this by down loading the your drive app, you can always get updated information about traffic, backups, with the new your drive app. You can down load that by going to cbs philly. Com your drive. New this morning new safety ratings are out to keep Young Children safe in the family car. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has announced its best bets in booster seats.
