>> yesterday on the roadways, earlier off in the morning we always joke everyone was still sleeping after the eagles win. everyone was in a coma. today not the case. everyone out this early. crews are slowing you down. an accident and accident investigation. >> construction guys have fantastic weather to be working in right now. so yes. i'm assuming probably wrapping up with time. but it is very comfortable for them right now. so this time of the year, we will take this. and talk about a warm up for the day ahead, wait until you see, really looks like nice excuse guys to get outside if you have the opportunity. storm scan, empty. tri-state sweep, no problems. we are looking good here. and we expect to see nothing but sunshine all day today. but look at the wind speed. now for one thing the direction changes, now more out of the south-southwest, but also slack ends up a bit. so the wind flow helps to move some of these air masses around, but it is not a real strong wind flow. so not going to be noticing the wind or the breeze like you have last few days, yes, still chilly, it is still winter coat required, kind after morning here, but 41 degrees as opposed to the lower 30's, or even feeling like the 20's as we did yesterday, with the winds factored in, this is not all that bad. it doesn't feel anywhere near as harsh, and look at the expectation for the day, minus the winds, with the sun, and the warming trends, this looks pretty darn stellar. make the excuse to get outside while you have the opportunity , right? fifty-one at best in the poconos, even up that way, that's not bad. but we are calling for 61 degrees, both leer in the city and at the shore, but meisha, you can't get used to it, right? >> no, i would imagine not. but we'll take it for now. that's awesome. so good morning, everyone, happy tuesday. so talking at the desk how today looks much different than yesterday. everyone getting head start on the day and they're coming right into that overnight construction. so the boulevard, the off ramp to schuylkill westbound, this is really where we're really getting back up. crews were kind of moving out of the way t looks like truck might be blocking it right now again. so just take a look at how many vehicles are already out there. so usually even when this overnight construction is underway, we don't see bumper to bumper conditions yet, just cracking the 5:00 hour. heading toward the schuylkill, just factor in some extra time , hopefully, though, our crews will get that out of your way for you. construction schuylkill west between montgomery, where it continues there westbound on the schuylkill. see the cones in the roadway, still seeing flags push over to the right. accident in germantown, germantown avenue at walnut lane. heads up for this, if this is your neighborhood, probably not going to slow you down, maybe tap your brakes, maybe factor in couple every extra minutes, back to you. >> thank you shall meisha. this morning, learning several residents are still unaccounted for after that devastating fire at a west chester senior living community last week. >> "eyewitness news" reporter trang do live in west chester where atf agent will return to look for crews -- clues. good morning, trang. >> good morning, rahel, jim, yes, four people remain miss ing this morning, after this huge tragedy that occurred here, take a look at this massive scene, that atf agents have to deal with, just so much damage here. investigators were hampered by weather conditions over the weekend, and really could not get into the rubble, until yesterday. they're hoping to find any sign of the four people who remain missing, but take a look at this heart stopping surveillance video, just released monday. it shows firefighters rushing people out of the barclay friends senior living community under heavy plumes of smoke thursday night. 137 resident and 14 employees were inside when the fire started, just before 11:00 p.m. in the back of the complex, and then quickly engulfed buildings and raged on for hours. in all, 27 people were hurt. now, five days after the devestation, four resident remain unaccounted for. now, authorities released information about them. they say that they are a husband, as well as a wife, and then two other women. take a listen. >> now, people ask me. watch can we do for these four people not accounted for? as their families are waiting for word even right now. say a prayer for them and their families. they're going through some of the toughest times you could possibly imagine. >> anbar clay friends management released statement monday night which reads in part: members members of the bash clay friends team have met personally with the three families most affected by the horrific lost, we will provide as much report as possible for these families as they deal with this unimaginable tragedy now, at this time, authorities are not releasing the names of the four people who remain missing, but we do have their ages, they're a 89 year old woman, her 92 year old husband , and two women ages 85 and 93. but for now, liver in west chester, trang do, cbs-3 " eyewitness news," jim, rahel, back to you. >> very sad news, thank you, trang. new this morning, flames break out inside vacant building in the cobbs creek section of philadelphia. firefighter, rush to the scene at sixo and spruce around 12:30 a.m. crews quickly got the flames under control, right now officials are still trying to figure out what sparked this fire, but no one was hurt. >> now to murder mystery in plymouth township. police investigating after man was found dead outside after strip mall. the gruesome discovery was made yesterday on the 400 block of ridge pike. police have not released the victim's identity, or details on how he died. philadelphia police charge a 21 year old woman with the murder of her grandfather, in the city port richmond section authorities arrested patricia yesterday, officers found her grandfather, 80 year old robert girard, dead inside their home they shared on the 2500 block of east lehigh avenue last wednesday night. officials say she stabbed him multiple times. no word on a motive. >> happening today, man accused of shooting a pennsylvania state trooper has a preliminary hearing. investigators say daniel cleary opened fire on two state troopers wounding corporate seth kelly. on route 33, northampton county this, he say conrail kelly likely saved his life by applying tourniquet to his leg before help could arrive. >> veteran news anchor charlie rose is responding after several women have accused him of sexual harrassment. >> meantime cbs has suspended him and pbs has pulled his interview series, the washington post reporting that eight women have accused rose of groping them, walking around naked and making leud phonecalls. the incidents allegedly happened between the 1990's and 2011 involving work for the charlie rose show which aired on pbs. >> and rose released a statement on twitter. it reads in part: it is essential that these women know i hear them and that i deeply apologize for my inapropriate behavior. i am greatly embarrased and i have behaved insensitively at times and i except responsible , although dow not believe all these statements are accurate. >> charlie rose is suspended back on "eyewitness news," gas main explosion causes a massive fining in oakland county michigan, gas transmission line, ruptured late last night, there is no word on what caused the explosion, so far, no reports of injuries, and we're toll neighbors forced to evacuate now back in their homes. >> another fiery scene there is one in oklahoma one person was hurt after this propane truck caught fire on the busy interstate. it happened after another driver rearended the truck. the victim was air lifted to the hospital. the flames spread into a grass fire, which was quickly contain. >> well, we haven't had our weather impacted much as far as roads are concerned. >> yes, but chicago they're already dealing with black ice , take a look at this. >> the slippery streets caused one crash caught on camera, wow, a suv there flipping after the driver lost control, on an exit ramp. fortunately, no injuries. there were also several other accident reported including one involving an i'm trying to make money here on the street. >> and although puerto rico is trying to rebuild, maria destroyed many lives. the government says the official death toll is 55 hurricane-related deaths. >> based on the factual information that we received, yes. >> but many have questioned the government's ways. >> it appears for whatever reason that the death toll is much higher than what's been another for the folks down in puerto rico. katie closer to home, yesterday you said we're in for brief mild up, and i think we're in store for mild up here today? >> nice throughout the day today. i think we will expect the low 60s in handful of spots. no too bad talking about the standards every mid to late november. so, i don't think you will be waltzing around in shorts and flip flops per say, but won't feel anywhere near as harsh, especially compared to the winds below end zero issues we had to deal, with feels a lot better outside. looking at storm scan, all clear right now. few patchy clouds here and there, moving on through, but we are in the midst right now of nice dome of high pressure helping to hook things up, bring in the warmth for our area, but the wind has certainly slack ends at this point. so you have a clear sky. don't have as hash as a wind watch more could you ask for? now, looking at the region wide zoom, i should say, the eastern two thirds, really of the united states, there is two pieces after puzzle here that try to come together, but they don't quite connect. and that's a good thing. you have frontal boundery eventually dropping in here later tonight. then you have this developing area of low pressure which starts to move northeast. should those two pieces coincide, which they probably will, when out to sea, you'll ends up with some drenching rain and pretty decent looking system. but they don't connect in time for our area. so, philly, primarily just isolated shower late tonight. talking well past the typical pm rush into the overnight hours. but through south jersey and delaware, you have got the best chance to see maybe one left over outer band from that area of low pressure bypassing us, to bring in maybe some steadier rain. so those are the areas most prone to see some steadier rainout of this, mainly again through the overnight, but you go north and west every philly , there is some parts that stay dry out of this. so really is location based forecast, outside boardwalk plaza, rehoboth one of the spots that could get hit with steadier rainfall, all dry, time to break out the best in graphics, little turkey running by, well, we are looking ahead here, to sunny skies, and chilly holiday. look at the little dancing turkey. isn't he just the cutest thing you've ever seen in your life? all right, beyond thursday, you got a lot of door buster deals on friday, looks right now we'll see sunshine, meisha , and also rebounds on the thermometer then, too. >> a lot of people happy about that sunshine, especially " black friday," we will be out there, who are you guys going to be? i'll be right there with you. looking outside, take a look, guys, yesterday around this time, it was very, very quiet. now, this exact same time, bumper to bumper almost stopped traffic on the boulevard. not just because of volume. although volume is a factor, really because the off ramp from schuylkill southbound jump onto or excuse me the boulevard jump on the schuylkill westbound, is closed. intermittently closed as the crews are trying to get this out of your way. because of that it is causing major slow downs for you. then, once you jump on the schuylkill westbound between montgomery and city avenue we still have crews out here, as well, tapping your brakes, going past all of these flags and cones, see the flashing lights, getting little bit of gaper delay here, but really on the boulevard southbound that you have to give yourselves extra time. i would say at this point give yourselves extra 20, 30 minute we do have an accident germantown avenue at walnut lane, lot more construction to talk about when we come back in the next ten minutes, rahel , back to you. >> meisha, thank you. now for look at newspaper headlines
