rash your vehicle away. so, please, never do that. lets see a powe north um of the storm system but we will have the impact and snow showers, and wind here today. more snow. we will get to. that i want to walk you through snowfall totals. if you recall our map we called for six to 12 in the city of philadelphia verified it. allentown had over a foot that was also expected, sinking spring and nearby, berks county at 13.3. there were place necessary carbon, monroe that ended up with upward of 2 feet of snow like mount pocono itself. pike creek, new castle county 4.4. we had gone three to six there that verified as did buena vista. even though it was mainly rain and freezing rain, of that storm system. it started off with 1.1 inches of snow. we called one to three. it was a forecast that was changeable, but it still ended up producing what we had called for. i will pat my own self on the back on that one. looking at storm scan three residual cloud and moisture, wrapping around, the storm system, as it continues to make its full exit. what that will mean is cold wind from the northwest, cold air being funneled from the northwest and additional snow squalls, or showers throughout the day. there is a winter weather advisory extended since eight, for most of the southeastern pennsylvania, we will talk about the wind in a second. it is mainly toward second half of the day but as early as late morning, parts of the the counties surrounding the delaware valley could have a few snow showers. note is what happened as wind gets underway and the storm off to the northeast pull as way, there will be scattered snow showers, that fire up here, across new jersey, perhaps, this is a model so may be different placement but anyone fair game for that and you might even see, if you see a heavy enough pocket moving through, upward of 2 inches to add to your totals. meanwhile wind advisory in effect at 8:00 and last until 8:00 p.m. for basically southeast part of the region. gusts to 45 miles an hour. they are peeking at 30 miles an hour in any given location. outside we will go to our roof camera here at sky scan three, current conditions, the wind at the moment is just not terribly harsh. it is more northwest through the day but it is 22 degrees. cold enough to freeze anything but it feels like nine. that is brutal stuff. if you have a wait on a train platform you have to bundled up adequately for this in the meantime even though we will brighten up here, meisha in time for st. patrick's day it is not really warming up. we will keep those winter coats handy. >> it business this time i go why didn't i book a spring break? why didn't i do that? i say that in march? that is my problem. we are looking outside right now and what is going on right now is a lot of ice. we will talk about what happens when we get that much ice on the roadways? this is what we will get. we will get accidents. we had an accident this morning that has been since cleared, we are looking at another one right now, this is route one northbound at creek road chadds ford delaware county all lanes are block. were you squeezing by in one lane, we were saying take it easy traveling pennsylvania with an accident and black ice and just slick basically anywhere you drive this morning but now all lanes are blocked. so with that said i will tell you right now that if you are thinking of going out there, i would like to give you green light but if you don't have to , if you don't to have drive-in these conditions, i wouldn't. we have a lot of speed restrictionness play, these bridges, 35, 25, 45, 45 on scudder falls that is fastest one. but that is not it. we have speed restrictions in other areas. new jersey turnpike between 195 and jamesberg, 45 miles an hour restriction there. and there is a lot more to talk about this morning because of the ice. we will be seeing a lot of different things but more restrictions here, 495 the entire length right now i to
