The storm is also forced the nfl to turn the pittsburgh can as city playoff game into a night game. That will will give crews more time to treat the roads. Justin, what a mess out there in the midwest. Is that the same system thats headed our way . It is the same system. Were kind of getting a piece of the system on the front side. Not organized system but enough to bring wintery weather berks nothing like that, maybe up to inch every ice in some spots. But not for us. Little light snow, maybe little bit of sleet mixing in, little rain depending where you are today. Not big deal. Reminder it is wintertime off coming off record highs couple of days ago. Snow is flying up in the poconos, not natural snow, manmade snow, taking advantage of the cold air in place, for the start of the weekends, big boulder should be pretty big weekend skiing specially tomorrow with the sunshine returning, temperatures comfortable, well above freezing, even up in the poconos. Big time difference in the temperatures compared to this time yesterday. We were waking up to numbers into the 50s, friday morning, at this time, so 25 degrees colder in philadelphia, 23 wilmington, 19 in mount pocono. That set the stage for little wintery precipitation in our forecast today for majority of the Delaware Valley. Freezing in millville, atlantic city, 36, rehoboth beach. Nothing terribly cold, so, a lot of the conditions probably still above freezing at this point, but still have it watch out for some slick spots, especially untreated surfaces later this afternoon, into the evening hours, when we see the fall precipitation moving in. Twentyseven in allentown. Here we go. Storm scan3, cloudy skies over us right now for most of delaware, new jersey, and pennsylvania. It will stay that way pretty much through the Morning Hours, see the disturbance situated to the south. Kind of on the Northern Edge from this moisture to get in here later today. See mixture of some snow, freezing rain, and rain. Best potential for some ice will be south and west of the city. So upper maryland, eastern shore, maybe cecil county maryland down toward baltimore and washington, will see little light snow once the precipitation moves in the philadelphia region. Few more hours to go yet of dry conditions. Warmfront, to our south, stays to the south today. So we are on the cold side of the system. Temperatures above freezing this afternoon. Little light snow, passing on by, mid to late afternoon, into early evening, and thats gone. Back to some sunshine for sunday. It will be turning out to be a nice finish to the weekends, temperatures above average, middle 40s, keep the trends going on monday, clouds will thicken up ahead of the next storm systemment next week likes mild, widespread 50s, only the shot of wintery precipitation, at least widespread winter precipitation in the next week or so. Noontime, some of that moisture trying to get in, in the form of some light snow, dover, delaware, cecil county maryland, early afternoon, 5 00, we could be dealing with heaviest snow. See rain to the south. Extreme southern new jersey, dover, on points southwards, freezing rain, trying stay to the south and westment thats good thing. Then most of the moisture is gone by 9 00, 10 00 this evening. Clear things out overnight, back to the sunshine on sunday. Minimal snowfall amount, it will be less than an inch, a lot on grassy areas, maybe half inch for philadelphia up into allentown, not much accumulation for areas from extreme southern new jersey on central delaware on south. So, not big difference. Not more of news and type thing. Thirtyone eventually this afternoon, up around allentown, mid 30s for philadelphia and surrounding suburbs, tonight it does get cold again. Close to freezing, slightly below in some areas, could be some icy spots, early sunday morning, afternoon temperatures, feeling pretty good. Sunday afternoon back to the low and even potentially mid 40s. But today, cloudy skies, watch out for the afternoon light snow. Sleet making in, 36 degrees for the high temperature. Light snow and sleet come to end early this evening, it will be cold, temperatures upper 30s, upper 20s, around 30 degrees for most spots. So for today, again, first half of the day, stays dry. Thats good news for the philly home show. Pennsylvania Convention Center tomorrow, sunny skies, 44. Fiftys returning next week, it looks like tuesdays our next chance for a larger system that will be in the form of rain. Temperatures just too warm. It looks like the mild trend continues into next weaken. Jan, we send it back to you. Justin, thank you. Here sobering reminder about how to drive in weather weather.
