Steady rain is now moving out to sea. That is good news. As we zoom out it is active off to the south where most of the activity is, this evening but showers and storm, all this you see here does to have clear through and that will take all night and possibly even into the first part of your saturday to complete. It has been as always a Spirited Campaign address, many stood in line right here for many hours to get in at noon time and then stood for four more hours until mr. Trump took the stage. For the second evening the community has come together around Howard High School technology in wilmington where 16 yearold amy joynerfrancis died after an attack in the girls bathroom. It is crazy because Something Like this had to happen for people to actually realize what they are doing to themselves and someone not to help that girl like that is just crazy because yall letting this happen, yall let it happen. Reporter Officials Say two girls were involved in the assault and took the tenth graders life thursday morning. So far no official word on how joyner was killed but police say there were no weapons involved. You have to stop the violence. It effects my heart and my spirit so we keep losing our children and burying our children every week or every other week to senseless violence. There was a neurochemical thing going on in my brain that twisted the way i thought. Reporter new report from the cdc says suicide rates have jumped to the highest levels in decades. Suicide rates are on the rise in our nation. There has been a 24 percent increase overall. Reporter most alarming findings, suicide rates for girls ten to 14 tripled, overall number was still very low. Suicide also jumped for men between the age of of 45 and 64. Studies show middle age and financial concerns, can be driving factors. Experts say that there needs to be more focus on prevention and eliminating stigma around mental Health Issues to take the shame out of seeking psychotherapy or psychiatric treatment if warranted. Those are parts of taking good care of your health. Reporter locally the university of pennsylvania has also had an especially high number of suicides, the campus has set up peer counseling groups for anyone struggling with thoughts of suicide, help is available.
