>> reporter: nicole, student here at temple university are mourning the death after freshman student. this investigation continues today. and at this point police don't believe foul play is involved. they do believe that this 18 year old student may have been sitting on allege taking a picture when she fell to her death and injured a pedestrian below. shoes on the sidewalk, a grim reminder of what happened here at 16th and chestnut streets thursday evening. a 18 year old temple university student falls to her death out after window, eight stories up. >> it is a tragedy. my heart just going out to her family. >> police are is her clinic for surveillance video in the area hoping to gain a clearer picture of what happened. but preliminary investigators say there is no indication foul play was involved. >> she may have been leaning out the window, she may even have been sitting on the ledge, about a 2-foot wide ledge, possibly, taking some pictures. >> investigators say the woman may have slipped as she tried to go back inside. the student was visiting two friends at an art institute of philadelphia dorm room at the time. police are questioning the two other student who were there. when the student fell, she also hit a 44 year old woman walking below on 16th street. >> the 44 year old female, she was conscious, she was talking, she was very upset and she was complaining every pain. >> that woman was taken to hahnemann hospital in stable condition. still, a shocking site unfolding in front of dozens in a busy area center city. >> you would never think that someone would like, fall on you, while you're trying to walk down the street. very unfortunate accident. >> then that woman who was injured suffered injuries to her back, and had couple of teeth knocked out. temple university meantime has released this statement reading: temple university is deeply saddened to learn the death of one of our students in center city philadelphia. our thoughts and prayers are with her family and her friends. on campus today, counselors will be available for any students in need. in the meantime, police continue to investigate including getting a search warrant for that dorm room. reporting live, at temple university, jan carabeo cbs-3, "eyewitness news". jan, we'll get back to you, thank you. new this morning philadelphia police are searching for the gunman who shot a man inside a parked car overnight. it happened just after midnight along the 5400 block of ludlow street in west philly. an eyewitness told police another passenger pulled out a gun and shot the driver after the men struggled. the victim was hit in the head and arm at last check he remains in extremely critical condition. it is 5:03, here is your traffic and weather together on the 3's. katy?
