Im Stephanie Stahl, cbs3, Eyewitness News. 5 43, we have some incredible video to show you. This is rare weather phenomenon at the grand canyon. Pretty amazing looking, it is a thick sea of clouds, and it is filled up the canyon as you can see, now there is occurs when the clouds are forced down by warm air, and unable to rise, and it only happens a few times a decade. The clouds by the way are expected to gradually clear up in the coming days. Thats amazing, almost looks like snow, carol, i had to look twice, like what is that . Nicole, you know better on that say you know bet here say the words snow to me. Thats right. For snow lovers, i know not good news, but for people who really still have calluses from last winter on their hands from shoveling, it is great news. We are looking at the ben franklin bridge, looks just fine out there this morning, temperature of 30 degrees, far north, broads heads ville, through the poconos, and winds out of the northnorthwest about 9 miles an hour, so obviously that combination will make it feel colder, and in fact we have the same kind of thing going even in the philadelphia area, that we have temperatures that are cold, but there is a slight breeze, and thats making it feel even colder out there. So, temperatures, cold this morning, but Everything Else is pretty quietment storm scan3, if you see a cloud, okay, but if you dont, which many areas are not seeing clouds right now, just enjoy that view of clear sky for a change. Because we have seen so much in the way of clouds and rain over this last week. Looks like weve got much better week coming up. 36 degrees in philadelphia. Thirtyfive in trenton, 32 degrees in wilmington, dover, in the 20s, someplace, and thats in the poconos at 28 degrees. Thirtysix down in wildwood. Our temperatures today will be getting into the 40s, we should be at 46 degrees, this time of the year. We will be probably 42, 43 degrees, but we do start to get warmer, and little deeper into the fours, over the next couple of days. So, tomorrow, you add couple of degrees, by the time we get to monday, this may be optimist took get all the way to 50 degrees, but we will be really really close, so, temperatures warming up and the weather is calming down. Our future weather, remember, last week, stopping it all the time, showing oh, and then it will really rain then, oh, and then too, and then another time. Not so much. This time were looking at sky conditions maybe bring cloud or two and then thats about it, by tuesday, might see rain shower, but that should be the extent of t if you are a skier and do you love snow, and many do, 34 today, 43 degrees monday, so you have good weather to do. That will meteor shower, something to watch tonight, and specially if youre out, outside of the city, you can be seeing from 60 to 80 of the meteors per hour. So, this is really good viewing, and the best viewing starts tonight at about 8 00 tonight. Now, the other thing that were thinking of this weekend, maybe you tailgate. Sunday, 43 degrees, kick off 40 degrees temperature and the Fourth Quarter of 37 degrees. And we also have channukah starting this week, coming up on tuesday, 45 degrees, mostly cloudy, and there is the shower chance on tuesday. And then winter begins. December the 21st, with that, we get very shortest daylight of the entire year, as you probably know, nine hours, 19 minutes, 57 seconds. The average High Temperature on the first day every winter, 43 degrees, now, we do have 43 degrees, and thats coming today. Little bit in advance of winter. And thats in philadelphia, shore, 42, the poconos, 35, it will be breezy at the shore today. So if you are going there it, should be nice looking day, but it will be colder because of the breeze. And in fact it will be colder here in philadelphia, because of the breeze, well see, 43 degrees, feeling more like the 30s, all day. Tonight we are ditchly in the 30s. Easy seven day forecast, not much to talk about. It is temperatures in the 40s, they get little better, as we hit mid week, and otherwise, sun, clouds, and sean of a shower coming up tuesday, nicole.
