Well, developing news now Philadelphia Police have released the identity of the man they are looking for in connection with the deadly shooting of a threeyear old girl in grays ferry. He is Brandon Ruffin of south philadelphia and you see him here. Police believe that ruffin pulled the trigger friday night on eding street, hitting and killing threeyear old to near a important dumb caught in the cross fire two. Other adult bystanders were also hit. The intended targets a 24 yearold man was shot in the head. Because of a communitys involvement and them coming forward and providing us with information on the shooter we have identified and have a murder warrant for Brandon Ruffin, a 22year old male. He should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. Douglass woods, who is 22 is already in custody in connection with the shooting. He has been charged with murder and other offenses. Well, we also now know what caused this deadly food truck explosion in philadelphias feltonville neighborhood last month. The fire marshall has determined that the build up of excess propane gas, inside of that truck on wyoming avenue, caused that deadly explosion. The source of the ignition though is not yet known because multiple burners and warmers were being used in the truck. The explosion killed two people, and injured 13 others, two people remain hospitalized tonight. As the the Philadelphia School budget crisis, looms, there is growing outrage over the stalled cigarette tax bill meant to help the struggling district. Reporter plenty of passion in harrisburg, a collection of philadelphia students, teachers and Community Leaders filling the Capitol Rotunda calling outlaw makers for refusing to come back from a session break to vote on a 2 cigarette tax. We need it now. Reporter both school and state leaders say the tax will cover the districts 81 milliondollar budget gap saving some 1300 school jobs, insuring the schools here open up on time but state lawmakers decided not to come deciding complications with the bill. We have to make sure that the School District has the bare minimum. Reporter Democratic State representative Cheryl Parker met with republicans on monday. She says the tax passage and nothing else is what the district needs. Anything short of that will force 1300 potential layoffs and class sizes to be approximately 41 and the potential for school not to open in september. Reporter in a series of private meetings governor corbett met with the g. O. P. Speaker and majority leader. We spoke to steven, who is spokesperson for both. The governor told leaders that he does plan on working with the school did it trick to ensure that they do have the cash flow. He will try and front them as much as possible. Reporter chris, a very emotional Court Session here in courtroom 8a for past two and a half hours, dozens of family members of the six indicted Philadelphia Police officers in court at times, crying out loud and at times cheering with the decisions, here are the six officers, their pictures those indicted on corruption charges last week. Two of these officers were ordered this afternoon held on pretrial detention, that would be michael splicer and thomas. Linwood norman and perry betz were released by the imagine state on house arrest meaning they will be under electronic surveillance 24 hours a day. And after the decision was reached, we spoke with the attorneys for officer norman and officer reynolds who are being released and got their view on just what happened in court today. Government moved for detention which they had a right to do indicate ago this there was a danger to the community and it was a rebuttable presumption and we presented evidence today that the judge obviously believed that rebutted that story. I had a petition from over 200 of his neighbors which were gathered by his sister in the last 24 hours that the petition stated that Linwood Norman is a credit to his neighborhood. That they called him a gentle giant. I was particularly moved that his sisters were able to gain those signatures, names, addresses, phone numbers of people who are willing to come forward for this gentlemen. Philadelphia Police Searching for a suspect who shot two people overnight this happened along the 7100 block of georgeian road and west oak lane. Police say a man was shot at least seven times in the car. He crashed nearly a mile from the shooting scene while trying to escape the gun fire. That vehicle, a Ford Crown Victoria has ten gunshot holes, mainly in the driver door, and in the door jam around the the driver door and several of the windows of the vehicle were shot out. The man was rushed to the hospital and in critical condition, a 25 yearold woman was also shot in the leg. In california tonight crews in the San Bernardino mountains are cleaning up from torrential rains that caused these massive mud slides and flash flooding. At least one person died, and more than a thousand wound up stranded, and cbs news correspondent Danielle Nottingham has more now from forest falls, california. Reporter boulders huge trees and cars are scattered across the town of forest falls after flash floods suddenly game through. It was pretty intense. The water came out of that hill about 8foot high, and rocks just the size of these cars just came rushing through so quickly. Crews spent the morning clearing this pathway about a 100 people were stranded on the other side at a Community Center overnight.
