sure, guys. we ended up with record high yesterday. we hit the records hyatt 8:30 or so at night. crazy stuff. so we were into the mid 60s as of that point, now temperatures are gradually starting to fall, because of the passage of this front, which obviously isn't out of here just yet. we go back out to storm scan3 first, you can still see, lingering rain as expected. i would say, though, by the time perhaps you're headed out to go visit grand ma, something like that, you're very likely going to be completely done with the wet weather t looks as though maybe eight, 9:00 at the latest, that we see any additional raindrops, obviously moving from west to east here. so matter of time. we end up with pretty pleasant weather beyond this point. let me quickly take you through future weather, in fact, looking ahead in the forecast, we mentioned the next few hours we feature some rain, still just rain, still too warm despite the passage of the cold front for anything but rain for everybody. but by the time we hit say 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., taking things off the air here on our sister station, the ww philly, we'll see skies clearing out nicely here and more sunshine as the day progresses, the thing is this wind doesn't let up. even though you'll seabright sunshine by three, 4:00, 6:00, 7:00. beautiful. tomorrow, beautiful, saturday looks pretty much the same. coming up on pleasant weather couple of days. looking quickly at the future winds speeds, as well, mostly westerly component to the winds. this winds will crank, basically, all day, as high as say 15 to 20 miles per hour, with gusts that could peak as high as 35, 40. now, by later on tonight, that wind is starting to wayne little bit. but it is with us for the better part of the day here, even though the temperatures are off to real mild start in at 60 degrees in ac, 63 still in wildwood, 59 at the airport, we aren't going to start to see the temperatures gradually start to fall. so that's what the theme is here, you take a look at the video, you can see it was packed as usual here in center city overnight. many people we spoke with are looking forward to spending time with family this christmas, and family was main topic of archbishop charles chaput's message and midnight mass last night. it usually is on this holiday, but specially so this year, as philadelphia prepares for the world meeting of families, set for september 2015. along with that, of course, comes historic visit by pope francis with a papal mass on the parkway. now the archdioces has already kicked the planning into high gear, tackling issues from buying and storing millions of mass booklets to housing and transportation for more than a million visitors t seems philadelphians couldn't be more excited. take a listen. >> we
