All happened when his family was just inside include that mans young child. He was taken to the hospital. He later died later this morning. Police are now treating this as a homicide investigation. Take a look at the videoment all of this happened right around 10 30 last night, 5100 block of f street in lawncrest. Police say the 28 year old man had just come home from shopping, as you mentioned, they say he was in his back driveway when approached by those men. Now before the victim died, he was able to tell police at least one of those men pulled a gun and announced a robbery. Then for some reason the victim was shot multiple times. Police found four spent shell casings right next to his body indicating he was shot at point blank range, taken to Temple University hospital in very Critical Condition where he later died. Unclear how much the suspect got away with, but police do know they took the victims gun which he had with him at the time of the robbery. The victim told us he was robbed, and after the victim was shot, one of the perpetrators actually took a semiautomatic gun from the victim. So we dont know if the victim got a chance to even pull the weapon or if it was just stolen as result of the robbery. Now, homicide detectives are investigating. They are looking for surveillance cameras, and video in that area. That young child, that was in the house, when all of this happened, that young child was taken to neighbors house this morning, safe, unharmed, that Family Member also in a house now working with investigators to see if she can help in this investigation.
