right now at 11:00, flames consume a delaware county warehouse where firefighters are working to put out hot spots >> the manhunt ends, how an order of french fries leads authorities to the alleged facebook killer >> hits by a please cruiser, eyewitness video catches police officers rushing to get her to the hospital moments after they hit her with a car. it happened in park in kensington. i'm jessica dean >> i'm ukee washington. that woman is now being treated for serious injuries. let's go to "eyewitness news" reporter alexandria hoff. she's outside temple university hospital with the story. alex? >> reporter: we are told this woman appeared to be in her 30's and once again she was rushed here to temple university hospital in the back of a police cruiser immediately after she was backed over by one. on a paved walking trail on the 3,000 block of f street, police say that a police cruiser was parked while officers conducted an investigation. that investigation became secondary around 4:30 p.m. when a department spokesperson said an officer attempted to move that vehicle. >> they went ahead when they doesn't matter. ran over her. >> reporter: unknown to that philadelphia police officer >> female was behind the vehicle and the police vehicle struck the female. >> reporter: an eyewitness caught what happened. two officers jump into action, moving the seemingly unconscious woman to the back of their cruiser in order to get her quick medical attention. >> the officers did immediately transport the female victim to the hospital. >> reporter: according to police, it is unclear if the victim had been standing or possibly sitting at the time the cruiser backed into her. authorities could not disclose details about the investigation that brought officers to the park in the first place. >> that investigation might resume. of course, it was interrupted by the need for the officers to render first aid and get the victim to the hospital. >> reporter: in our last update, we were told this victim remains in critical condition. reporting live from temple university hospital, alexandria hoff, cbs3 "eyewitness news." >> thank you chopper 3 over a huge fire that chester. firefighters rushed to a vacant warehouse on west 3rd, the fire reached two alarms, we're told no one injured. the fire has been brought under control, firefighters remain on the scene. to knock down hot spots, no word on the cause. a tip from an alert work at a fast food restaurant lead police to the gunman accused of murdering a cleveland retiree and posted on facebook. it ended with the suspect taking his own life. a quick thinking mcdonald's employee called 911 after recognizing steve stephens's face from a wanted posted. the owner tried to stall >> basically told him it would be a minute. we were trying to make sure she got in contact with the police >> they caught up with him as he sped out of the parking lot. >> when the maneuver was conducted. the vehicle spun around, came to a stop and pulled the weapon out and shot himself. >> stevens had been on the run since recording himself killing 74-year-old on sunday. stevens apparently picked his victim at random and posted it on facebook. the mother of two of god wynn's ten children says it does not give her closure. >> you left my kids without a father >> police say while this was not the ideal outcome. they thank the public for helping them >> without the public, we would be nowhere. it's so important to any investigation that the public step in and help us. >> police are searching his car and tracing his steps over the last couple of days. an autopsy is set to be performed wednesday. officers searched the area around erie, which is about 100 miles from cleveland on sunday after officials tracked his cell phone. a suspect is under arrest for a shooting rampage that killed three in fresno california. 39-year-old corey muhammad shot god is great. accused of shooting three white men at random, they say it's based on race and not connected to terrorism. he allegedly posted on social media he disliked white people. police in montgomery county are looking for a female suspect accused of attacking and trying to kidnap a man she met on craig's list. "eyewitness news" reporter david spunt is in lansdale with the disturbing allegations. >> reporter: lansdale police say delaware county resident laura ashley is wanted for a craig's list crime. >> something this extreme is definitely outside the norm >> michael trail said it happened in january when a lansdale man in his 20's searched for a companion on craig's list >> there's no information to that leads us to believe this was nothing more than a lonely individual seeking companionship >> he agreed to meet at the man's home, she did show up with two other people. he says they assaulted and tried to rob the man. trail said they tried to kidnap the man but he got away. authorities say laura mound and the two others left. but police want to hear more of their story >> we've been in contact with ms. mount and other members of her family, she's aware of the investigation and our request. >> reporter: detectives sergeant trail said she's not interested in cooperating. he said what happened should be a reminder for people doing business online to meet that a public space. he's offering his parking lot with plenty of light and these cameras to make sure nothing bad happens. >> covered by david spunt cbs3 "eyewitness news." president george hw bush is hospital with the recurrence of pneumonia. he has been at hospital since friday. he had a mild case of pneumonia. a spokesman said he's being kept in the hospital until he regains strength. he spent 16 days in the hospital in january for treatment of pneumonia. the second round of road closures for the upcoming nfl draft will go into effect. we're nine days away from the event on the ben franklin parkway. it will be shutdown to 20th street, affects both inbound and outbound traffic. you can find all of the closures on cold front through the area. that comes through thursday night into friday. i will say the good news is our best shower chances over the next several days really comes through the overnight hours overnight tomorrow. and overnight again thursday but we can't rule out a structure. temperatures on the cool side. 47 in trenton, 47 in millville, down to 51 in philadelphia. and 53 in allentown. for rests, our low last night all night long with 51, we'll be dropping further down into the mid 40's seasonal this time of year. speaking of seasonal, today was close to normal. 69 degrees, our daytime high. morning low again 51. the average is 45. and that's where we're headed tonight. let's time out the chances for wet weather. headed to your day, we start the day, 9:00, 10:00. we still have sunshine. the wall of clouds about to move in from the west. that will overtake the area through the afternoon. notice, here 5:00 p.m. they're not a lot of rain or moisture. mainly off to the north. can't rule out a stray shower. better chance for showers comes overnight into early thursday. this is 4:00 a.m. thursday starts with clouds and breaks of sun here through the afternoon and the milder, but here comes that next cold front. that's going to move through overnight thursday into friday morning with another chance for showers, friday starts with clouds and showers and clears out. and friday will be warm and windy with temperatures in the 80's. the cooler air lagging behind the cold front. your rain chances and isolated afternoon sprinkle, chance for scattered showers or thunderstorm thursday and into friday morning and friday afternoon the sun returns, pollen counts we're that the high range. if you're a sufferer, especially tree pollen take the meds. you will need them. friday looks like the highest of the next free. overnight patchy clouds, those clouds increasing. it's slightly on the cool side of normal. thursday, not bad day. 76. friday, we're in the 80's
