We have live team three coverage, trang do live in brigantine, we start with meteorologist, lauren casey tracking for us in the Weather Center we still do have Tropical Storm warning in effect for all new jersey and coastal counties until further notice, as we continue to deal with the impacts from hermine, most Significant Impact yet to come. The latest on hermine, National Hurricane center just issuing latest advisory as of 11 00 this evening, sustained winds at around 70 Miles Per Hour, so it is a subtropical system or post tropical system but it really has no bearing on the impacts that were going to see and hermine is likely to strengthen. Right now moving off to the eastnortheast, but as we head into the day tomorrow, it will make that turnoff to the northwest, moving extremely slowly, the slowmo mentum pretty rash for a system there is high up in latitude. You can see monday, tuesday, these markers on top of each other, the system starts to move it way off shore. As it makes that turn to the northwest tomorrow, it likely will regain, that category one hurricane strength, with winds 75 Miles Per Hour, so our time frame of most concern for most Significant Impact along the coast will be tomorrow night, and labor day. Right now on storm scan3, little difficult to see, here is the center of hermine right now, it is off shore, about east of norfolk right now by 250 miles, again, moving very slowly off to the eastnortheast, at about 13 Miles Per Hour. Nothing much in the way of rainfall, couple of light showers across delaware, rain wont be the primary threat with the system, primary threat will be the coastal flooding, so what to expect over the next couple of days, wind gusts potentially 40 to 55 Miles Per Hour, along the coast, also, the potential for moderate to major coastal flooding, very rough surf which already seeing, and dangerous rip current, as well so talk about what to expect during the time frame every significance, i think tomorrow night, and early monday coming up in your full forecast in just couple of minutes. Still few brave souls swam and surfed in the choppy water. Current and the waves incredibly strong, will lead up to the storm. And we actually had our beach patrol officers earlier today, you know, sending people off the beach and keeping them out of the water. Brigantine emergency coordinator and police chief jim ben it said the islands is ready for whatever hermine may bring. High wind, flooding concerns, prompted them to issue voluntary evacuation order. One man is dead, two are now in custody in connection with an Early Morning shooting that injured an Atlantic City police officer. Bat 2 30 this morning, two officers noticed a robbery in progress, on arkansas avenue near the ceasar casino parking garage. As one officer exited the cruiser, he was shot. The other returned fire, killing one of the suspect, now identified as 25 year old jerome damon. Five other men ran off. Police eventually located everyone of them, determining three were the victim of the robbery. And they were ultimately released. Two other, 19 year old markell chism, and another charged with two count of attempted murder and several other charges, as well. The wounded officer does remain in critical condition. Tomorrow, some gusty winds around, maybe spotty rain possible, but i think best chance of rain will be tomorrow night, in the city. High temperature tomorrow, feeling pretty cool, 75 degrees. Storm scan3, off shore, that swirl right there is the center of circulation of our post Tropical Storm, moving slowly off to the north and east, then we continue to do so, really as we head into tonight, before models projecting it making a turn to the northwest, you can see, most of our major models predicting that northwesterly turn, as we head into the day tomorrow, this is a time frame, also, that hermine will likely regain that strength of hurricane status as we head into monday, continuing to move slowly off to the north and west, than is a time it will make it closest pass to our coastline, before, again, turning off to the north and east, likely, as we head into wednesday and thursday. When impact will be greatly minimized but for tonight, through late monday, check out some of these tropical threats foray long the coast, coastal flooding, i think thats a category of main concern, high wind threats, not so much a heavy rain concern, but foray long the immediate coastline, beach errosion and rip current, definately bodes high with the system, on shore flow, it will be strong, it will be persistent, those are the two reasons why we are concerned for the possibility of moderate to even potentially major coastal flooding, and that time frame will be sunday night and into early monday morning, coinciding with the high tide times. So for tonight, own minor flooding anticipated, tomorrow morning, moderate flooding, but then as we head into the high tide times, 10 00 to 11 30 p. M. Along jersey and Delaware Coast tomorrow night, we could potentially see major flooding and then again during high tide monday morning, 10 30 to 11 45, in the morning. Also, the likelihood of Tropical Storm force winds, wind gusting to Tropical Storm force possible, as far west as center city philadelphia. Again, sunday night, and into early monday, as hermine makes her closest approaching to our coastline. We likely will see wind gusts 55 Miles Per Hour along the coast during this time frame. So future wind gust painting the scene here head into the day tomorrow. Winds starting to pick up, Late Afternoon tomorrow, by tomorrow evening, those winds really whipping, especially along the coast, near 50 Miles Per Hour, late tomorrow night, early tomorrow morning, gusty wind, along the i95 corridor, extremely windy conditions, down the shore. Then as we head into monday, midday, we will still see the elevated win speeds. Then monday evening, starting to wayne, and then conditions starting to diminish altogether as we head into tuesday. As far as rainfall again, not going to be a major concern, but we could see some locally heavy rain, two to 3 inches, and in a short period of time could cause localized flooding as far as rainfall is concerned along the coast. Otherwise i think our best chance to see little bit of rain in the city is going to be on sunday night, and into early monday morning, otherwise, conditions start to quiet down as we head into tuesday, breezy, and warmer, eight a degrees. And then hermine is history. By wednesday, heating up, getting humid, sunny, little return to summer, but yes, an interesting go over the next about 24 to 48 hours. You will be busy. Yes.
