day today. another one of those at least tonight into tomorrow morning. tomorrow afternoon not quite as cold. as this afternoon. but a few more clouds start to filter in as well. today was beautiful everything goes dark it's only 27 degrees there in kutztown at the moment. the cold air is here. and it's here to stay. at least through the extended period a brief warmup and that comes on thursday. but our one warm day as we head through the weekend is really accompanied by some wet weather. here the storm that's going to bring it actually bringing snow right now to portions of wisconsin. portions of michigan and we're seeing rain and thunderstorms down through portions of the mill rheely the central planes from nebraska down into kansas and iowa. that system is going to head our way as we go through the end of the week. thursday it crosses through, behind it, we open the flood gates once again to cold couldn't made yann air and we will feel it this weekend. so what you felt today, that's what you'll be feeling saturday its saturday and much sunday as well. our highs feeling leak february 19th when our average high is 45. that's what we hit today. 43 was the high in allentown just 33 today in mount pocono and 44 the daytime high in dover. wildwood got a little bit warmer but you can see up and down temperatures for the past five days or so. seems like distant memory we actually hit 80 last friday before the storms came through. saturday 65. then we dropped to the 40s. back to the 60s on monday. back to the fours that battle that time of year winter is trying to hold on, spring is trying to move. we get this kind of variable weather often this time of year. usually we feel these swings more in march than we do in april. but we very warm march now it's kind of like we're paying the piper in april. temperatures right now 38 degrees in philadelphia. take look at millville it's 27 degrees there right now. very cold. we're subfreezing in allentown and in lancaster. 21 in mount pocono the one difference is, not a lot of wind tonight or tomorrow morning. so the wind chills will not be as brutal when you step out the door tomorrow. you can see this wedge of warmth preceding that next front that's going to come in on thursday. temperatures do warm um as that front approaches but in the meantime, very cold temps to night. that freeze warning for the tire area now this is the entire area that the growing season has started. you don't see it for the poconos and lehigh valley they'll be below freezing as well in fact they already are but you don't put a freeze warning out unless it's going to impact 57 teague that what it's for. future weather shows clear skies overnight and into tomorrow. few clouds in the afternoon. pretty nice day. you can see that front lurking off to the west this is going to cross through the area thursday morning into the afternoon. with rain and thunder and behind that, it gets very cold again but the defendant air holding off until the weekend that means your parade forecast for friday not looking too bad. below average it's a cool day, some sun, looks generally dry with temperature in the low 50's through
