"discovered it was two 13 year this pointed in your direction, you're going to think it's a charged. video out of detroit shows someone in a clown costume pulling off a dangerous stunt. you can see the clown hanging on to the back of the bus. many people nearby don't think this video is very funny, instead it'll end up getting somebody hurt you know what i'm saying... that get them hurt for real". that video has been seen more than half a million times on facebook. a mom is fighting against this clown craze -- she's not giving any candy to anyone dressed as a clown on halloween. she says she's putting a sign on her house in colorado banning trick or treaters in clown costumes. she's worried halloween night could be the perfect opportunity for clowns with bad intentions to blend in with others, and with that, but there's going to be something that's not a good thing." "i think she's entitled to put up the sign, but don't take the recently warned parents about threatening hoaxes by people dressed as clowns. who let the hogs out? that's what one eastern iowa community was left wondering after a number of them went on the loose. animal control and police in waterloo spent hours trying to corral the animals. "there were complaints about the home where the pigs escaped from received several city code violations. the owner has 72 hours to get the farm animals out of the city. police arrested more than two dozen people -- as the protests over the dakota access pipeline continue. more than one hundred people iowa -- and some other states. "you go into a room and side of the room or another room." president obama is freeing up federal money to help those more support to haiti. almost a week after the hurricane hit haiti, the people there are struggling to get food, medicine and water. the u-s-s iwo jima, was deployed from virginia on saturday and is if you thought it rained a lot this year -- you're right. 20-16 will go down in the iowa history books.... this will be the third wettest year in the last 144 years. storm track seven's amanda gilbert joins us live in waterloo with more details. has been all the rain.. even this morning it's been raining on and off. the iowa department of natural resources says iowa has seen nearly 10 more inches of rain the statewide average was more than six inches. that makes it the wettest september in 30 years.. all that rain caused the cedar... shell rock and wapsie rivers to flood. end of august..... many areas in northeast iowa... including spillville and decorah... dealt with major flooding from the turkey river. we've got you covered live in waterloo... amanda gilbert... kwwl news. during flooding in august... towns in northeast iowa saw between 5 to 8 inches of rain. fantastic news this morning about the search for a four-year-old an alert hospital worker in tennessee spotted rebecca lewis. investigators were tipped off that a worker recognized the florida girl and the man accused of taking her from her home over the weekend. they say there's no sign so far that the girl was hurt, and they don't know why the two were at the hospital. "i'm numb, i don't know what the weekend's been. i'm so numb. i've went from anger to love to hate back to love back to hate. i can't describe it, i really can't." the girl with her family in by officers. a man is dead this morning, after a police shooting shut down traffic on a busy interstate. it happened late last night in southern california. california highway patrol says the man was shot by one of their they saw someone walking in traffic before the shooting. no word yet from officers about why shots were fired. flowers, pictures and balloons are being left on the steps of a police department -- honoring two officers who were shot and killed over the weekend. prosecutors say capital murder charges are expected against the suspect in palm springs, california. he's accused of shooting and killing two officers during a 12-hour standoff with the swat team. one of those who died in the line of duty -- had been with the department for 35 years and was planning to retire in december. an iowa school is remembering two officers killed earlier this year. susan farrell and carlos puente- morales were two of four people killed in a crash in april. they worked for the des moines police department. at a nearby school -- a landscaping project, more than 6 months in the making, is dollars for two trees to honor the officers... thats what makes us realize that the city is going to be fine. this community, we are going to get through whatever we are our future.' the trees will also help students deal with emotional losses in their own lives. a man arrested after shots are fired... now faces a more serious charge. last week in dubuque...shots were fired in the downtown area...on west eighth street. steven burrell of chicago was charged with reckless use of a attempted murder...
