It was cowardly in every sense of the word, from the way it was carried out to the way it ended. Greene turned himself in to a dnr officer after the shootings. Hes now in the polk county jail. If convicted, he would of course face a mandatory sentence of life in prison. The support is pouring in from departments all over the state. The oelwein Police Officers placing a patrol car outside of their station. It has a thin blue line flag draped over the windshield and there say when people drive by it, theyll rememeber those two officers and the sacrifices all officers make across the country. Hours after the shootings on wednesday morning greene turned himself in to a dnr officer on a gravel he was taken to the hospital to be treated. And facing two counts of first degree murder funeral arrangements are now set.
