gathered in dubuque friday morning to commemorate veterans day, there were some younger than usual faces in the crowd. more than 300 middle school students getting the chance to learn about veterans in a much more personal way. "we experiement alot with barrel aging, with infusing wall, and most importantly we have a small batch series program where we bring in local home brewers and give them a chance to brew beer that will make it to our tap wall. if it sells well we will scale it up to our large system and get them trained. hopefully breeding that here in the cedar valley." certainly a lot of friendly competition going as part of the cedar valley brew boom--- creating some great local products. jessica hartman news 7 kwwl and like we said --- lark brewing opening last month. the new second state brewing and a man is rescued from a fire at an apartment complex --but then arrested for trespassing. 44-year-old chad bruce facing charges. here's a look at the scene in the 900 block of commercial street early this morning. the building is abandoned --but crews forced to use a ladder to rescue the complex now boarded up after the fire. people in the area say they have seen people sneaking through the back door. "it could easily be used for obviously squatters which in this case it was i mean it is unfortuanate this person doesnt have a place to live but in the other end what could you do about that?" people in the area say even after police respondth the cause of the fire, meanwhile, is not known. a man who claims to be the biggest drug dealer in dubuque pleads guilty to federal charges. 26-year-old mark lembo charged with intent to distribute meth. according to court documents from our coverage partners at the telegraph herald, officers found more than five- thousand dollars lembo could face anywhere from five of robbing a man and a teen at gunpoint. officers repsonding to the two-thousand block of jackson street in dubuque wednesday night, according to the telgraph herald. police say 23- year-old calvin lumpkins, 16-year- old jarquez walker, and another teen stole electronics, money, and other items. lumpkins allegedly showing a gun --but nobody was injured. police are still looking for the third suspect. some moves, adding members to team. the president- elect wasting no time making changes. andy rose has more. president-elect donald trump has named his transition team and with it, announced his first shake up. trump has now named vice president-elect mike pence as the head of the team. not new jersey governor chris christie, who had been leading the team for the last few months leading up to the election.
