(brad hanson, @bhansonkwwl) "the winneshiek county sheriff says ey were called to a home here were a few people in there with him, cluding a smaal child, he over and was arrested without incident. it's a situation that has put the whole town on edge." donna greenberg, owner of the hotel capone in spillville, among those shaken by the news. (donna greenberg, ownerr hotel capone) "i just couldn't believe it, because everybody in town is so nice. and just to think that somebody in town is capable of doing something like that is just shocking." greenberg has been the hotel's owner for less than a year now. but she's also shaken, because one of her waitresses is a part of kuennenn family. she's one of our best waitresses, and she's almost like part of our family, so my heart goes out to (brad hanson, @bhannnkwwl) "i'm a aso told tonight that no shots were fired, and nobody was injured. we've got you covered here in spillville, brad hanson, kwwl news." among the charges kuennen faces are aggravated domestic assault, child endangerement, eluding and felony interference with ofofcial acts. meanwhile -- a man shot by police during a chase remains in the hospital tonight.. take a look. screech...4 gun shots the suspect -- now identifed by police as brandon seeley -- is driving the blue mini van -- being chased by multiple squad cars. the officer then fires four shots. seeley continues to drive off...sending police on a chase for five miles. can see the officer highlighthtd -- nearly gettng run over by the van. no officers were hurt in the incident. seeley was wanted for possession of marijuana out of jones county. the iowa division of criminal investigation is continuing to investigate. a man struck by a car remains in the hospital tonight -- and police say his condition is getting worse.. authorities responding to the university avenue and midway intersection -- after witnesses say -- a man ran into traffic. waterloo police identified him as 33-year-old robert johnson. he was taken to iowa city hospitals after being hit by a 21-year-old laporte city driver. police say the driver was not at fault or cited in the collision. a woman who uses the nearby bus stop says it's a dangerous intersection -- and she too was "i was afraid. i had to stepped back at least 20 eet away fromm where i was standing. so, i had to do something to protect myself." this is the second time in a week tat someone's been hit by a car on university avenue. cedar falls police say terry harp was trying to cross university just a block away from where the man was hit today. she later died from her injuries. the intersection where she was hit is set for a round-a- bout in the upcoming university reconstruction project. formal charges are filed against the woman accused of driving her car into the crowd at the oklahoma state university homecoming parade. facing four counts of second-degree- murder -- alog with 46 counts of felony assault. police say she drove around a parade four people were killed -- including a two-year-old boy. if convicted, chambers faces at least ten years in prison for each of the four murder charges. a former associate athletic director at the university of iowa files a discrimination lawsuit against the school... jane meyer filed a suit claiming the athletic director gary barta tried to derail her career... meyer was removed from her duties in december of last year -- nearly a week later she was brought back on to a position "well beneath her experience and pay grade" according to her attorney. deicision 2015 -- mayor candidates for two big eastern iowa cities are not done with their campainging just yet. two of last night's elections coming down to a runoff after none of the candidates reeched more than 50 percent of the votes. in waterloo -- top vote getters -- councilman quentin hart and mayor tim hurley will ace off. and in cedar falls -- school board member jim brown and current mayor jon crews will go head to head. black hawk county auditoo grant veeder says both waterloo and cedar falls had high profile candidates and high profile issues. he says each city in black hawk county has three choices for ordinances on election night...and it's not just the "or if you have more than two for a seat that are on the ballot then you have two two before the regular election or you jut hold a regular election and if no body gets a majority you hold a runoff." in the incident if there is a tie with this runoff, grant veeder says the board of supervisors will draw. the runoff election is set fofo december firss. a high school teacher is named the 20-16 iowa teacher of th year. fafarfield high school teacher scott slecca named the tate's top teacher by governor terry branstad. he's worked at the high school since 1984 and grew up on an iowa farm. governor branstad saying slechta "exemplifies the great teacing that is taking place in many iowa classrooms." coming up on kwwl... new details now say a officer's death once regarded as a homicide -- was not the case. plus.. a state trooper tries to heal the pain of four kids after a tragic halloween accident. here's a live look at the storm track 7 live doppler radarr...storm track sevee's chief meteorologist mark schnackenberg has your full forecast, coming up... lieutenant charles gliniewicz led to a large manhunt back in september. authorities were searching for three suspects they believed shot the officer. however -- new detaals released today by the lake county major crimes task force show the death was staged to cover up years of him stealing and money laundering from a caat program. george filenko lake county major crimes task force commander gliniewicz committed the ultimate betrayal to the actions proved he behaved for years in a mann completely contrary toothe image heeortrayed. authorities say he had been stealing and laundering money for the last seven years. they say he also forged signatures on multilple fficial dococments and used thousands for personal purchases. another law enforcement officer taking care of four childreewho
