Red cross has set up several shelters including three animal shelters for larger live stock. And two shelters, one in fontana and the other in hesperia at Sultana High School for anyone needing a bed water or food. Yesterday 150 people sought refuge at the shelter i was at in hesperia. They tried to find a hotel but everything was booked from hesperia to barstow. The receptionist told the family about the shelter. Many of the travelers who were stopped in hesperia made the long detour around the fire after one night at the shelters. Red cross tells me they usually help about 10 of the evacuees.
