Today she told me she deals with that loss every single day. And while the memory of alyssas life is very much alive in their household. Move past the tragedy of her death just living life everyday was a challenge for us for a while but were all doing much better. The path to healing has been a long one for the otremba family her loss has been a life long journey for us, i mean every day has its challenges bridge Alyssa Otremba was raped, tortured, and murdered just 100 yards from her home in 2011. Now more than 4 years later theres a memorial in her honor, near the site where her life was cut short i was very grateful for it, that was sort of sacred ground to me the otrembas takes every opportunity they can to remember alyssas life, but they say theyre ready to move past her brutal death. I think what he did was overkill that day theyre hoping the recent news that their daughters killer, javier righetti, is pleading guilty will speed up the pain that comes with her murder trial i do think theres going to be a closure, and we wont be waiting around. He didnt consider alyssas life that day, so its hard for me to consider his.
