Trying to make it up to the mountains. First breaking overnight, two suspects who led deputy on a chase are in custody this morning. The Larimer County Sheriffs Office says they spotted a car with a fake license plate around 1 00 in fort collins. Deputies ran the plates and thats when they knew they could potentially be criminals. There was a code 9 mary which is warrants are attached to the vehicle. It could be that the vehicle is stolen or it could be that the people who own the vehicle or have warrants. Alert. When the deputy tried to get the driver out of the car, she took off. This led Law Enforcement on a highspeed chase that reached 100 Miles Per Hour. The man and the woman inside outside the window. Left for their new home at the wildlife sanctuary. They often suffered abuse. Once they are acclimated, you will have a chance to see them, along with 400 other wild animals at the sanctuary. It is dedicated to exotic and endangered animals. The o. J. Simpson case came to light when a former lapd officer turned over a into i have that he found on the perimeter of the former simpson property over a dozen years ago. The knife appears to be inconsistent with the murders of the former football stars wife and friend. Multiple resources tell us that a knife found by a construction worker in 2001 or 2002 appears to be inconsistent with the knife used in the murder. That worker explained that the knife was found on that simpson well, that officer ended recently. The officers Attorney Says there was no apparent blood on the knife, only dirt and mud. The attorney also says the knife is a small knife, typically carried by construction workers or landscapers. Investigators say the characteristics are not consistent with the knife used in the murders nor does it appear it was buried for a length of time. Investigators however are now testing the knife. Depending where an item is kept and how it is stored and maintained, its possible to get dna. Look at what we do forensically with our natural history. Officers say they were involved in the armed carjacking at a home depot in aurora on thursday. The teens tried to take a road that is not plowed in the winter. The car slammed into an embankment. Thats when the three suspects took off and tried hiding in a nearby shed. Negotiators got them to give up. Two rifles were found near the scene. Police want you to be on the lookout for this man. Havens is wanted in connection with a burglary. He is likely homeless and may family in the metro area. A woman convicted of swindling money from her job learned her sentence. She worked at designer door hardware. She filed false tax returns. She used money to pay for the trip. She was sentenced to four years in prison. Homeless people leaving their belongings out in the open is a huge concern, even a health risk in denver according to the city. Now the city plans to enforce an ordinance to clear the sidewalks. They will post flyers in the area telling everyone that they have 24 hours to move their belongings. If they dont clear the sidewalks and other public areas, the city will take the items and move them to a storage facility. They will be held for 30 days before being destroyed. Two suspects that led deputies on a chase are in Larimer Police spotted a car with a fake license plate around the comfort inn in fort collins. They ran the plates and knew that they could potentially be criminals. The suspects were throwing things out of the vehicle during the pursue. They are investigating possible id theft. There was a code 9 mary which is a warrants are attached to the vehicle. It could be that the vehicle is stolen. It could be that people own the vehicle or occupants of the vehicle could have warrants. When the deputy tried to get the driver out of the car, she took off. This led Law Enforcement on a highspeed chase. Deputies say the man and woman inside the car continued to throw stuff out the window. They had to use stop sticks and a pit mature to stop the car. Crazy night. Uhhuh. A fire in El Paso County is close to being fully contained this morning. Authorities say el paso counsel see has seen several fires in the past week. A red flag warning is not in effect in El Paso County today. Thats a concern in El Paso County today. Leon. Thats right. Even in El Paso County we dont have a red flag warning, the potential is there for wildfires to grow. The window for kind of the most dangerous conditions will be through 6 00 p. M. Sources say the knife appears to be inconsistent with the 1994 murders of the former football stars wife and her friend. Vida urbonas has more from the information center. Good morning. Multiple Law Enforcement sources say that the knife found by a construction worker in 2001 or 2002 appears to be inconsistent with the murders. He was given the knife by a construction worker back then when he was working on the estate. The worker explained that the knife was found on that simpson property. Well, that officer ended upkeeping the knife until recently. The officers Attorney Says there was no apparent blood on the knife, just dirt and mud. The Attorney Says the knife is a relatively inexpensive, small landscapers. The characteristics of the knife are not consistent with the weapon used in the murders, nor does it appear it was buried for a length of time that would put it in the time frame of the slayings. Out towards the western slopes tomorrow morning, we see a bit of rain and snow edge in ahead of the next storm system. During the day on sunday is when we could get wet weather along i70. Two suspects that led deputy oz an a led deputies on a chase are in custody this morning. The officers spotted a fake license plate. They ran the plates and they knew they could potentially be criminals. When deputies tried to get the driver out of the car, she took off. This led Law Enforcement on a highspeed chase, speeds reached nearly 100 Miles Per Hour. Deputies say the man and woman in the car starting throwing out ids and checks. So now these people are being investigated tore potential fraud. They may be throwing cocaine out the window as well. What a crazy morning. Tore a hike. I say we all go.
