Crash noise. Reporter chapman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. He was not arrested, but issued a court order. He went through surgery last night and had another surgery earlier today. The sheriff says the deputy has been a Police Officer in colorado for 21 years. He describes him as an exceptional deputy and said he was wellliked by peers. Two men tried to rob the deputy on tuesday night. He was shot several times and fired back hitting the 16year old who was later arrested. The sheriff commended the Aurora Police department for their response and for taking good care of the deputy. The sheriff was in a staff meeting when he got the news last night. Im just reading the reaction of the staff as i yesterday. It was somber. We were thrilled to hear his prognosis and his outcome and to know that he is a fighter too, that also helps. The other suspect has not been caught yet. The Aurora Police put up a 6000 reward for information leading to the arrest. Additional 2000. They have a big description as wearing a brown jacket. Anybody with information is asked to call the Aurora Police waiting autopsy results to determine how an au pair died found in her apartment after she did not show up for work. They were made aware of this threat when a screenshot of a text message was posted on social media. They are trying to find out where the Text Messages originated. The threats were violent.
