It appears this storm, especially when the guy gets real tight like it is there closes off a little bit there, but i suspect this because theres so much convective itty around the eye wall. But the bottom line here is this storm is projected to be stronger when it comes onshore, and when its on shore than it was just a few hours ago. So if you look at this, you see on wednesday morning, the activity will category four just offshore thats going to be in the next couple of hours. If you will, as it comes into that bay. Thats a 12 ft, potentially a 12. Ft storm surge rainfall could get up to three ft. If you can believe that. Thats a real possibility. Um, and as this story and moves out. Its going to weaken once it gets over land, but thats tomorrow late afternoon. The real story with this is going to be that storm surge up to 12 ft. As i said, heavy rainfall, and on top of all this, its a slow moving hurricane is going to slow further as it gets onshore and slow is bad is bad because its going to go very slowly. With these strong winds, it may downgrade to Tropical Storm rapidly but the sheer amount of rainfall potential in this region which has already been wet. With numerous storms. Prior to this, theres a lot of full creeks already two ft of rain three ft of rain 6 to 8 ft of storm surge 12 ft of storm surge. Theyre going to have problems.
