Mandatory evacuations were lifted today for people affected by the butte fire and residents have been allowed to return to their homes. That fire is now 75 contained as helicopter crews searched for hot spots. Authorities said a safety advisory is still in effect but they began letting residents back into area today on a staggered basis. The so called repopulation phase began at 10 00 this morning. Many people dont have homes to return to however and are now dependent on an outpouring of help from near and far. We wanted to help. Most large wildfire are able to escape the fire. For the most part large animals such as deer, bear, Mountain Lions usually cant even get out in front and make it to safety.
