Lot of him. In the offense throughout the year. Maybe tough initially, because you really have to get crabtree going, and amari cooper going, but some kind of way, you have to work the young man in, and let him help the offense out. And what a difference of opening day last year to this year, and center snapping him the ball, and potentially all three wideouts will be helping him out, and potentially a different tight end out opening day. All upgraded. Second and goal. Dyer. Nope. Denied. Third down coming up. Boy, this is a nice little battle here with a minute or so to go on this this one to go, and the defense does not want to give up the points. And the low man wins, and this is the part of the game that doesnt get practiced very ofte often. Man noeo a mano here. Get the pads down low and drive. And dyer again, and the touchdown. The raiders feliciano and kistler, bell and morris, and some of the guys up front with tony bergstrom. Nice block, too, with leonardo as dyer gets in. And he did a nice job stay ing on his part. Well, nobody likes to see this h, because the final minute of the fourth preseason game, and injured seahawk. Well sh, it is different that used to be. The fourth preseason game in the old days, youd have about five or six guys taking a dive. Remember that, tim . You would be like, no, dont, and you stay down. Yes, i remember one guy who faked it so well, they had to bring the ambulance out on the field. Oh, that is just wrong. He came walking out of the locker room, and it is crazy. No, you would go down, and everybody, every team would do it. And that is the name of the game. And you got the six guys on the i. R. That way. And okay, now, tim is going down on the play. Okay. Wow. . It was interesting watching, because then, oh, the guy would just fall down and hold something. And you guys make fun of soccer players i dont want to hear anymore of that. Soccer is not a sport. [ laughter ] well, the good news right here is that the injured seahawk player is up, and mohammad see say and heading back over to the sidelines. And of course sh, the start of play was a raider touchdown by michael dyer, a ndnd with the departure of trent richardson, perhaps the spot is open for dyer to find a spot on the roster, and what a shot of redem shun for him, for a guy that lost his way in college, and the raiders are hoping that he can rediscover some of the magic from his days at auburn and have an impact. And special teams, and pleasantries right there. Onside kick . Oh, that is just geez. Oh, that would be brutal. And you guys, what did we learn about kicks and punt returns if anything . Well, we learned that wylie is going to be fine. In the return game. And also, i think that this tavecchio kid, he is going to be kick i kicking somewhere in this league. He has got himself a pretty good leg. And pete carroll is trying to get a hold of jack, and i think that he is trying to tell him that they are going to be taking ae knee here, and he went down to the knee three times, and jack is not paying him any attentio attention. I will be interested to see if wylie makes the team or if they are going to be going to carrie again on the punt returns or atkinson or somebody else on the kick returns. Ly be interested to see what they can do with at kinson, because he can play in the league. He has the pedigree. And the toughness and the special teams, and the nose for the ball. And we have saw him in on a bunch of tackles in the game. And what color is the dome . Golden. And in spite of that . Well, still. Tavecchio. And it was, you called it the onside kick. Oh, they got it. [ laughter ] perhaps that is pete carroll deflecting to jack del rios genuine moxie. I want you to watch one thing. And look at atkinson taking out two guys. They both went for atkinson, and it worked against them. And look at the great onside kick. Oh, it bounced back. Smile for seely. Leal with, that sis a little jacked up. Well, it is a little wrong. And now, will the raiders take a knee . No way. How many timeouts you got . Time to air it out . Might as well. Give him a chance. Did you say, how many timeouts do we have . Yes, absolute ly. [ laughter ] dare i say three, okay. And these guys are fight ing for the football lives here. Shoot if i am out there, aim like, lets run some plays. And on the near side, robertson and atkinson, the wideouts to the right. Ponder and he is sacked back at the 42. A loss of seven. The offensive line went to the locker room. They have not had a good night all night. You have to come off of the twist. All right. They will get one more off here. And ponder with more time. And looking for roberts, and complete. 8 seconds to go. Well, guys, a pleasure, and a thrill to be part of the team. I will be anxious to see how the group does this year. Yep, yep. I think that they are an improved roster. Now, you just have to go prof it. It still reminds me of when jon gruden came in, and we had talent, but they had to go into the right direction, and the first year we didnt win, but we were in at lot of Football Games, but 88, and we knew we were a 12win football team, but we had to stop making mistakes, and now it is not on the coaches anymor anymore, but it is on the players to make the plays. And the draw to atkinson, the final play of the preseason, and the seahawks win it on the scoreboard 3121, and oakland now will have some decisions to make, and the roster will be cut down to 53 on saturday afternoon, and the couple of old friends getting together at midfield with del rio and pete carroll. Then a weekb from sunday opening day at home with the cincinnati bengals. Thank you, raider nation. On behalf of all of us here, an inmate beaten and left to die in his cell. Yes, and he is looking good, and understands what it like to lead the team. And he played well, and a lot of battles. They struggled on the offensive line, and when you are not plauing the starters tonight, and they struggled to run, but a lot to take away, and the effort on special teams was there, and a lot of guys fighting for job, and jack del rio has a lot of Big Decisions to make. And yes, saturday is the deadline for him, and we have two home games, and then on to cincinnati, and oakland.
