Three adult males were shot at the hartnet apartment complex. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two were taken to the hospital. Police say an officer on patrol heard several gunshots and called it in. Richmonds spot shotter system also caught the shooting. Two Homeless People were found dead. Police were called out to a parking lot at grand avenue and lake grand avenue. Officers say the bodies of a man and a woman were discovered at a homeless encampment underneath interstate 880. Investigators are not saying how the two died but they do not suspect foul play. The south bay the San Jose Fire Department issued a warning to its fire crews after the discovery of a hidden booby trap. Amber lee is in san jose with what that trap looked like and why it may have been put there in the first place. Reporter frank, the firefighter who stepped into that trap was not hurt. But officials are alerting all crews to be on the look out. A fire crew was responding to a small fire on the east side of whats known as communications hill. A wild land area that offers a panoramic view of san jose. A firefighter came across something potentially hazardous. A hidden trap. This is a picture provided to us by the San Jose Fire Department. What i see here are one, two, three, at least four sharp sticks that are sticking out of the ground. In a hole, they designed it so someone would have to step into that log and then it would fall into the trap. Reporter once homeless himself, robert igiras was once an advocate for the homeless. He suspected the trap was made for the homeless. It was two feet across, about a foot and a half deep. At the bottom were sharp sticks. Supervisors in Contra Costa County voted to repeal their own pay raise today following public pressure. Last year the supervisors gave themselves a 33 pay hike. Ikea is recalling almost 170,000 crib mattresses because some of them dont fit properly in the crib and could potentially pose a danger.
