Well crews are setting up efforts to fix a massive sink hole in San Franciscos inner rich neighborhood. The hole is 9 feet deep. City crews say a storm rain pipeline broke. Gas and Water Service has not been restored to the neighborhood but it will take time to fix the sewer line. It is expected to be done by monday or tuesday. The chief of San Mateo CountyCentral Fire Department is free on bail after pleading not guilty to grand theft and fraud. Investigators say he and his wife set up credit cards under fake names then withdrew money. The chief was released on 80,000 bail and ordered to surrender his passport. His wife already left the country but will face charges if shes found. Heavy equipment was needed to remove several feet of mud in river side county near Gilman Hot Springs which is about 80 miles southeast of los angeles. Mud slides trapped about 40 people in their cars and they had to be rescued. The National Weather recorded two to 4inches of rain in just a few hours.
